We generally stay at one of the on-site Disney properties, but we have also stayed at several other "walking distance" properties. We decided to finally try the Candy Cane Inn, since the Disney properties have gotten so expensive, and we have not been happy with...More
This hotel was a very good value. The room was spacious and clean. We had only a little interaction with the staff and it was pleasant. It was walking distance to Disneyland. Really. It was like maybe two blocks in a well-lit easy to navigate...More
I don't hold hotels to a high standard because I'm not one to be disappointed. My stay here was uneventful which is good because I like to not worry about anything when I'm on vacation. They had clean rooms and service was great. The check...More
This was our second stay in a little less than a year and the Candy Cane Inn is still the same. That's a good thing. They offer all the extras that others hotel charge for at a reasonable rate. I say reasonable because the location...More

It's pretty much the size of the room. The Standard room is 264 square feet with two Queen beds. The Deluxe room is 308 square feet with two Queen beds. The Premium room is 350 square feet with two Queen beds. In a Premium room you do get a few additional amenities, such as daily bottled water (2, I think), DVD player with a free movie rental from the front desk, and some kind of a welcome gift upon arrival (I don't think it is anything too special---it's like a microwave popcorn in a popcorn bucket, and a cookie, or something like that). The biggest perks about the Premium room, in my opinion, is that you can have the free breakfast delivered to your room every morning, and you get a late checkout of 2:00 PM on the day you leave. I also believe the Premium rooms are a bit quieter, as they are at the back of the property away from the street. I hope that helps.
