Lovely owner who makes breakfast daily based on your dietary restrictions. Personally, I loved all the amenities and impressive variety of coffee and snacks at my disposal anytime of the day or night. This is the only place I'll be staying during my visits to Arkadelphia. Truly, a great value for the quality, experience and amenities. The rooms are worth...

This was my home away from during my daughters college years at OBU. If your looking for a relaxing place this is it. The many rooms are beautifully decorated with antiques it makes you think you have stepped back in time. This beautiful 10,000 sq. ft. mansion is stunning inside and out. The inn keeper Vicki pays much attention to...

If you find yourself in Arkadelphia, what a treasure to find for lodging! Our room, The Founder's Room (#4) was roomy and very clean. I didn't notice it, but Mom said the road noise was more noticeable from this room than other rooms that she has stayed in in the past. The snack room hit the spot and the various...

We found Henderson House B & B on line when looking for a good stopping place along the road from Chicago to Dallas. Arkadelphia is a quiet, lovely college town. Henderson House sits on campus at the corner of 10th st and Henderson. It is an imposing white Victorian house with the most marvelous oak wood work inside its many...

we stayed in the Millsap Room. We found this B & B to be one of the best we've stayed in so far. The service was professional, the house was very clean and quiet, and the breakfast were to "die for"! We have an allergy to wheat, and the staff made sure our food was Gluten-Free! We would definitely stay...

They have approximately 8 rooms and it is staffed mostly by students and a responsible housekeeper that also Steve's as the morning cook. They will take your requests for breakfast and of...

I spent a solo weekend at Captain Henderson's B&B and it was heavenly! I stayed in the Elk Horn room (the round room upstairs) and it was perfect. Roomy, comfy bed, everything I needed. Huge bonus - there is an air conditioning unit located in each room and it's work like a dream. You can get it as cold as...

Let's face it. Arkadelphia is not really a tourist destination. But if you do find yourself there, this is by far the best place to stay. The building is beautifully restored. The furnishings are period pieces that are very comfortable. There are antiques throughout the public rooms. Breakfast is great and the staff is friendly.

My mom booked several rooms at the Henderson House for my graduation. The breakfast was wonderful! We had a haunted room and were not the only ones who thought so, since we found a poem in the drawer the next morning about the ghostly chill. I could feel a presence but slept wonderfully. I especially sleep well when it's cold....

Finally I really liked the Phillips Stone Room. It has lots of windows and it just cheery. I may stay in this one next time.”
