I am a huge fan of Quality Inn. I have visited my share of their properties. Arab, Alabama is 5 stars hands down. Clean, Quiet, and sanitary. The breakfast area was an incredible and clean! The staff was pleasant and ensured we were confortable.
Decent priced hotel and the only chain hotel in Arab. I stayed three nights. The hotel did not appear to be very full, however the first night a late arriving couple was assigned the room next door. The rooms face directly into the parking spaces (all outside rooms). Needless to say I was awakened upon their arrival and it was very loud considering not much insulation in the door or the walls between rooms. The bed was decent as well as the pillows. The towels clean. The carpet was stained and didn't look to have been vacuumed in a while. I noticed a roach on the wall the first morning and alerted the front desk attendant who was very kind and said they would spray while I was at work during the day. The room itself could use a general face lift as it is quite dated. I would…
We stayed here for a couple days visiting friends. The room was disgusting. Carpet was dirty. It looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in days. There was no hot water and the walls are so thin, I could hear the guests next door using the bathroom! It wasn't a great experience.
Well I've reviewed this motel before with nothing but great things to say. But now it's under new management and they are very rude. I've been staying here for over 3 years on a weekly basis but tried to check in and was denied. I've always been paying with my company credit card and now they want my personal credit card in which isn't needed. So I was told I couldn't stay any longer. I thought that was a bad thing but when I checked in here at the Wyndham in Guntersville I wondered y I didn't come here sooner. This place is wonderful and looking forward to spending my time here when in town.
