Motel was our base for local sightseeing. Window seat=sleep spot for grandkid. Room was clean, everything worked, extra towels for (small but clean)pool. Some people residing there, all were friendly.

I would definitely come back to give this hotel a second shot. The reservation was incorrectly made for a smoking room. The room was really cute and the bed VERY comfortable. I didn't arrive until after midnight and didn't get to my room until 12:30 a.m. I didn't try to change the reservation due to the fact I would be up and leaving by 7:30 a.m. The smell was terrible for a non-smoker. But again, the room was cute and I would come again. I would just verify the reservation was correct.

I have to admit that I had low expectations going in to my stay, but was pleasantly surprised. The staff were accommodating and kind, my room was a good size with a refrigerator and microwave, and two nearby restaurants had a special offer in conjunction with our booking. I would stay there again!

My husband and I stayed at this hotel during a fishing trip to Lake Guntersville. All the staff that we came in contact with were friendly, the hotel was clean, and the hotel parking lot offers electrical outlets to plug your boat in. I will stay here again when we go back!!!

The staff was great - very nice and hospitable. The room was next to the office, so they probably did not rent it as often as other rooms. It had a strong musty smell, even the original towels smelled musty. There was also no fitness center as advertised.
