Beautiful hotel right near the capital, monument and White House. Was here for a business meeting. The rooms were beautiful and clean. Being an IHG member gets you free internet and newspapers at your door. The conference rooms were great too. All different sizes to accommodate your meeting. Well worth the stay

I recently visited DC on a tour and stayed at the Willard. It is across the street from the White House, which you can't see from the hotel as trees block the view, but there was lots of activity from the White with the SS and such! The hotel was beautifully appointed and we had a great room. Had a...

Beautiful historic hotel in a location that can't be beat. The beds were very comfortable and blackout shades did their job. The rooms are silent and comfortable. That said, housekeeping could use a little more attention to detail. The furniture is beautiful and somewhat ornate. When the sun came in the level of dust was pretty obvious under all the...

My daughter was married in a Saturday night wedding at the Willard, with the ceremony in the Crystal Room, and the reception in the Willard Room. 5 stars does not begin to tell how great our experience was. The physical setting is exquisite. Most hotel ballrooms are generic multi-purpose rooms down in the basement, and might as well be in...

The Willard is one the most luxurious hotels I have ever stayed in! The staff was super courteous and helpful! Clean comfortable rooms and great restaurants! The history of the Willard is second to none and quite remarkable!

This is a beautiful hotel right in the heart of D C. You can't sleep too much closer to the president then this. The place is not only beautiful but the service is great. As far as location it don't get much better. Try it, even if just to say you did.

We decided to spend a little extra for our short break in Washington so chose The Willard. Steeped in history and elegance, the hotel is a den of luxury right from the time you step through the door. Harp music could be heard from the small tea room in the fare corner of the lobby which just added a little...

My wife and I have stayed at the Willard before and it was fantastic. We can't say exactly the same this go around. Turn down service only occurred 4 out of 5 nights. The beds were in need of an update. Hairs in the shower when we arrived, and a less attentive valet service than we are used to here....

The hotel is beautiful, and I love reading about its history! The hotel is conveniently located for some of the big touristy stuff (White House/Washington Monument/Lincoln Memorial). It is also located within walking distance of Metro stops. While the immediate area is not particularly "alive" in the evenings, it is within walking distance (1-2 metro stops) to more popular areas...
