My husband and I stayed here last month for a business trip and short vacation. The hotel is a few blocks from the train station, which was a fine place to park the car (rather than valet at the hotel). The lobby is quite large, the furniture worn. We sat there frequently to check email since they do not offer...

What can I say about this hotel that doesn't say it in my review title, it's well located! You are close by to the Metro if you don't want to walk everywhere and also the pick ups for the trolley and tour buses are around the corner. We didn't actually have any of our meals at the hotel but the...

We stayed at this hotel because of its location, and the location is really great (2 blocks from Union Station, close to Chinatown and Eastern Market, blocks from the Capitol, Supreme Court and National Mall) - the rooms are fine, the lobby is really nice - although the entire hotel is quite dated - If the hotel was managed well,...

This property is just three short blocks from Union Station (trains, buses, Metro) and only 5 blocks from the Capitol Building. As a family with a young child, we felt comfortable and safe in this neighborhood, which is on the outskirts of Capitol Hill (close to Chinatown). It's a very good value. The staff members are attentive, friendly and helpful....

Great location two blocks from Union Station. We traveled via train from NJ and had original reservations in Alexandria, to avoid the high costs of DC hotels. When the Groupon deal appeared, I was glad since stayiing in town eliminates having to use the metro to pretty much all attractions. We were able to store our luggage upon arrival (before...

We were happy with our stay, as the room was clean and spacious, and the location and service also very good. Admittedly, the area may get a bit dodgy at night. There's a homeless hangout nearby, and on days off the federal buildings around the hotel are deserted. That said, it's very close to public transport and walking distance from...

Reasonably priced. Very clean. Friendly staff. And like most others have stated, you cannot beat the location. Walking distance to Union Station, the Capitol Building, etc. Granted, we got a Groupon deal for the weekend, the average price for a room here is still a fantastic deal. If there was one con I could think of, that would be no...

This is a very nice, clean hotel. Room was impeccable, service was friendly. The main attraction is that it's within easy walking distance of the Capitol and Union Station, where you can catch the Metro to just about anywhere in DC. Price is very reasonable under the circumstances, and you can often get a deal via Groupon, Hotwire, etc.

4 blocks from Capitol Hill, this is a lovely location. Felt safe walking in area. Friendly, helpful service, comfortable lobby, inviting lounge, large, quiet, clean room. Don't miss restaurant one block away for breakfast, lunch or dinner: "Art and Soul." Cab to Reagan airport is $15 and Union Station within walking distance.

If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel right in the middle of the Capital tourist zone, look no further. While rooms are about $220 or so, you are within walking distance of the Capital, many of the Smithsonian's and a mile or so from the Washington, Lincoln and WWII monuments. You are also a few short blocks from...
