I was traveling with my daughter on college visits and stayed at the Jefferson as a treat. The check in was great, location is perfect and bell staff excellent. Our first room was small but lovely. There were a few issues with the room (heating was very loud and red light on phone was on all the time) so we...

Dear juliet k, Thank you for taking the time to post about your recent stay at The Jefferson! While I apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the noise and the telephone light in your initial room, I was so pleased to read that we were able to show you another option and that Felicia provided you with excellent service....

We stayed at the Jefferson in mid-January with our daughter and her husband. It was our third visit and have no hesitation in saying it is one of the world's best hotels. The staff are terrific and the decor/furnishings are first rate. The concierge had no trouble in getting us tickets to the hockey (great seats) just an hour before...

I recently stayed at The Jefferson for business and was blown away by how beautiful the hotel is. I stayed in a standard room that was more then "standard" The room was beautiful and the bed was one of the best I have ever slept in. The staff was amazing as are the mini muffins they bake each morning and...

Out of our window. Service was awesome! The bar was very cool and we loved the history of this hotel (letters written by Jefferson, etc). The concierge did everything they could to accommodate us and the location could not have been better for our meetings at the foreign embassy. The staff went over as beyond to accommodate us

I stayed at the Jefferson for three nights with my black Lab. When we arrived, they'd already put a dog bed in the room along with bowls and were extremely welcoming -- the concierge gave him treats every time we walked by. Unlike other hotels, which charge a daily fee, The Jefferson had a single one-time (and reasonable) cleaning fee....

We didn't have the smallest room but it was very tiny. Bathroom was nice and view was ok. I was expecting a special breakfast but the eggs dry and the rest just barely warm. The worst thing about the hotel was the smell. Not sure if it was a choice of the hotel's but it smelled like a wet dog...

Dear Traveler, My loved one and I spent 4 epic days and nights in our nation’s capital, Washington DC. We arrived for the historical moments and Inauguration of our 45th President. There are very few hotels in the world that can rally 6 star level of service. Le Bristol in Paris, Hotel du Cap in Antibes and the Jefferson Hotel...

This hotel is exquisite. It is quiet, refined but not so pretentious that it is off-putting. It is close to all major tourist locations and nearby to great restaurants, as well. The bar/restaurant that is both part of the hotel and accessible from the street is also an enhancement to the whole experience. And finally, the staff is extremely accommodating....

Our 3rd time staying at The Jefferson. This time was suppose to be just my husband and myself, as we were dropping our daughter off in DC for her internship, so we reseved a King room rather than the suite. We had nice corner room with a King bed but had to upgrade to a larger room after our daughter's...

Intimate, historic, beautifully adorned, elegant yet relaxed. Probably the finest small hotel in Washington. One of our few go to hotels in DC. Superb service throughout. Dining, cocktails or tea, each wonderful. We shall return.
