I stayed at this property on a recent trip to DC. It is very conveniently located, not so far from K Street, not so far from DuPont Circle - easy walks. My room on the eighth floor was actually rather large with kitchenette, sofa and chair, etc. and was comfortable - not the most modern or up to date -...

My finance and I wanted to have a great romantic trip together in Washington, D.C. Everything was going well. We had arrived at our hotel and we liked the layout etc. However, right when we got in to our bed we were constantly itching. It was TERRIBLE. We stripped our whole bed and there were no bug beds but instead...

Lousy refund policy!!!! I had a reservation that I bought on Travelocity to spend one night at the hotel. My trip was posptoned, and my air tickets were refunded. Travelocity called the Hotel, but was told that the Hotel would not give me a refund. I called the hotel, and asked them to charge me a penalty, or give me a...

The hotel is located about 7 blocks north of the white house, and was very handy for my work at the National Geographic Society. It had a nice restaurant, but a very small lobby and front desk area. I stayed on the 9th floor and pretty nice views of the building around the hotel. The room was really small, but it...

In a town full of mediocre hotels, this one has a lock on the lower mid market, though is priced accordingly if you avoid extras. Scruffy, not very friendly, and charges excessively for everything. Do not pay the $35 daily parking fee, there are a couple of free spaces around the corner that you can nab if you keep your...

When I arrived at the Beacon Hotel, I had taken the red eye from Las Vegas to Philadelphia and rented a car and drove straight through to Washington D.C. The staff was very understanding of the situation and had my room ready shortly after my arrival. The room was spacious and well kept. We were able to walk to everything...

The hotel is nice and the staff was ready and willing to serve. The initial price, $106 seemed good but...$35 for parking (come on, really?) and $12 for internet (in this day of ubiquitous free wifi?). I hate places that nickel and dime you- if I knew up front, I wouldn't have stayed. Then I checked out and noticed that...

We arrived early in the afternoon and found a room ready. Only two things I could say the water pressure is poor for showers. The beds were showing their age. Room was clean and staff great. Would stay again.

Stayed here for a weekend get-away and had another great time. During my last stay I suggested that something be taken care of and the GM sent me an email telling me that he would check the problem out. So for the GM to send me an email trying to discuss the matter I think it speaks volumes. So thanks...
