The hotel was right off the freeway so it was very easy coming in from the airport (about US$65-70 taxi ride without tip). The rooms were of a good size and toilets were very clean. My room came with a kitchenette which was convenient for having some bites on hand, especially if you would like to save the $20 for...

This is the 2nd time this year that I've stayed at this hotel, and once again I am pleasantly satisfied with the accommodations and hotel staff. The staff was always pleasant and helpful. The deluxe king room was clean, quiet, and had the kitchen area that was nice as we ate breakfast there after buying supplies at the nearby Whole...

They have completed converting the old apartments to rooms with kitchenettes and a nice dressing room/bathroom setup. Service is lovely and the location is wonderful. I almost hesitate to recommend so highly as I don't want it to be all booked when I want to stay!

This hotel has a great location, very nice beds and a bathub! The service staff is always smiley and eager to help. They even held some delivery packages I ordered in advance. They could improve their restaurant though...

We stayed in the deluxe bedroom accommodation (one king bed) for 4 nights which was quite nice. Nicely furnished, with fully equipped kitchen which we used occasionally. Staff very attentive. Good location near G W University. Moderately priced by D.C. standards. The hotel hosted a small restaurant which served a limited selection of tasty dishes. Room service until 10PM. We...

It is right next to a 24 hour CVS would was helpful for snacks and things we forgot. The hotel is within walking...

The location of this hotel cannot be beat. Walking distance to National Mall and all monuments/museums, Georgetown waterfront (great happy hour spot) and practically on the George Washington University campus. There is a CVS & liquor store conveniently next door. The room was spacious & the full kitchen was useful. The only reason for the 4 star rating is both...

For the PRICE, IN THE DISTRICT: This room was exceptional. Extremely pleased. The bed was comfortable, the room was sparkling, staff was attentive. Ice delivered to the room on first night, bottles of water left during turn-down, daily Washington Post left each morning.

State Plaza was a perfect place for us to stay as we visited George Washington College with our daughter. The hotel is located right on campus. It was very accessible to the area attractions as well. Very clean, Chic decor in the rooms and friendly service. The fully equipped kitchen was a pleasant surprise. The room was nicely laid out...

The staff were very friendly. The room was very nice and clean. Beds were comfortable. A special bonus was the kitchen with a full fridge. They were nice to deliver each of us a bottled water each night. The hotel is in a great location and many areas are walkable and if you don't want to walk the subway is...
