We always stay here. It's always been good to us and close to GWU and the sights. I like the running paths along the Potomac as well. I always get a good sleep there. We are returning in July and will stay there again.

Service was superb and it was great having a kitchenette equipped with pots, pans, utensils, microwave, toaster, tea kettle, fridge. It was so much easier to be away from home in this place with a crawling baby and active toddler. Plenty of space for them to move and play. However, the actual building and room furniture were very old. It...

Nice cosy place to stay. Ample space and has a working kitchen. Walking distance to food place. Clean and friendly staff. Not much options for in dining. No lunch at all. But because you are near to 7 eleven and food place 5 mins away.

I booked my room with the app Hotel Tonight for $80 for a night. The price was right but should be noted that parking is $47/night ($40 for parking and $7 for tax). The hotel is in .5 miles away from the Lincoln Memorial. That said if you don't intend on walking everywhere then this hotel has no benefit, my...

This hotel is in a perfect location if you are visiting GW. Our daughter goes to school there and we always stay there when we visit. The rooms are big and clean if not a little "tired". The front desk is very helpful. They have an offer on their website that if you find an offer from a third party...

I'd like to focus on the staff at the Washington Inn first because they were extremely friendly and professional! Upon leaving, we realized that we left our entire amount of birthday money in the safe! The desk and accountant made sure the contents were Fed-Ex'd to us on the opposite coast immediately. Such great and prompt service! The door man...

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with my daughter, visiting GWU. It has the feel of a small, intimate hotel. The staff was very friendly and gracious, and valet parking the car was easy and convenient. You can't beat the location if you are visiting GWU. It's steps from Trader Joes, Starbucks, and Whole Foods, which made getting...

My wife and two adult daughters stayed here in two rooms. The rooms were large, clean and comfortable. We chose a suite which included a very useful kitchenette and gave us room to gather together, as we had hoped. The hotel is a very short walk from the Foggy Bottom - GWU metro stop and it is very easy to...

We were in DC on college tours and stayed at this establishment. This is a very old/ not kept up hotel. The room itself was ok, the bathroom was atrocious. The toilet was placed so that even a child couldn't sit straight. Ants also throughout bathroom. Fixtures puttied to wall, shower older than I was. the workers were the stars...

The University Inn, formerly The George Washington University Inn, has new ownership and is beginning a renovation process. We loved the old hotel, and the new management is not disappointing. Many of the front of the house personnel--welcoming front desk representatives and bellmen who are like family--are still with the University Inn, so the warm and hospitable feeling remains intact....
