Gorgeous refurbished mansion with 3 floors. All rooms have their own bathrroom/shower. Large dining room for excellent included breakfast, and large comfortable living room for relaxing, afternoon wine, etc. Owners are very involved and personable and will help you plan your day in D.C if you wish. Breakfasts are fun with the opportunity to meet interesting other guests.

Where to start? This lovely B&B is more like a luxury hotel. It has been lovingly restored and is tastefully decorated with exquisite artwork and furnishings. Beautiful Persian rugs are in every room atop the beautiful blonde hardwood floors and rooms have exquisite crown mouldings and medallions. You will feel like u r in a gallery, yet at the same...

I stayed at this bed and breakfast for three nights recently and I cannot say enough good things about it. The place is immaculate, and well-kept. The owner and staff are absolutely wonderful. We truly enjoyed the delicious breakfast spread, and met some very nice and interesting people. The location is superb, walking distance to the Metro, shops and restaurants....

We decided to stay here to celebrate our anniversary--we love history and--although we've been to D.C. many times for work--decided to do it for fun! The Embassy Circle helped make the trip a memorable experience. Exactly what we imagined our perfect D.C. lodging to be! The host and hostess lead lively breakfast and cocktail conversations, were immense help when we...

I didn't get to spend much time in the guest house, but thoroughly enjoyed the time I had. And the owners are the epitome of hospitality! I arrived after hours, and the proprietors made arrangements to leave me a key. But then it turned out that one of the owners was still there and kindly welcomed me, carried my bag...

We have stayed here for three times and have treated like life-long friends of the owners, Laura and Ray. The accommodations are excellent and most comfortable. The location is centrally located near the heart of Washington, DC. Close to restaurants, Capital Hill, The Smithsonian, Georgetown, and so many other historic venues. Breakfast is always a joy as there is a...

Stayed here during a week long trip with my mom and her two friends. I loved every second of my stay in the house. I didn't want to leave on our last morning. Laura, Raymond, Betty are so accommodating - there is no need unmet. Hint - do not miss the evening reception! Have great conversation and make new friends....
