My wife and I stayed for three days and really appreciated the location and quality of this hotel. Very walkable to all major sites and an oasis of pure luxury and quality. The hotel is top notch and the staff couldn't be more professional or welcoming.

Well appointed, quite and comfortable room and a large marble bathroom. We got a good price for this level of hotel, so great value for the price we paid. The location is not best for all purposes probably, but it's close to the National Mall. Taxis were plentiful right outside the door. Restaurant and bar.

The lobby and common areas are beautiful and elegant. Staff is extremely professional and helpful. Rooms are spacious - fabulous bathrooms. Location is off the beaten track. Fairly close to monuments. No restaurants in the immediate area. Not close to Georgetown, theaters, Dupont Circle. Seems more appropriate for conventions or business travelers than tourists.

I've visited this hotel before solo, but this time I got a chance to bring my family and explore Washington's museums and monuments. Firstly the location is amazing, not just for the museums but also with a pharmacy and sandwich shop just outside and in a quieter part of town. Reception and the concierge are great. The rooms are just...

I oftenly visit Mandarin hotels, but this one is not the most luxury of them. But the service and the cleanless is ok. From THE hotel iT is easy walking to THE highlights of Washington. Hotel is not to expensive. Good price/quality.

We have been coming to this hotel for our adult-only getaway for nine years and it never disappoints. The service an amenities are superior to any other hotel we've stayed, and we stay at top-notch hotels (e.g. Ritz, Four Seasons, Enchantment Resort). If for whatever reason you are in DC and cannot stay at the Mandarin, definitely get a cab...

The rooms, service are exemplary. Clean and elegant hotel. Proximity to museums and monuments. The only gripe i have is, I miss making my own coffee in my room. You have to go down to the restaurant or order an expensive room service. CVS close by and Starbucks that opens after 8:30am.

We got a great rate because we visited in the sluggish summer when the government and lobbyists are on vacation so the value was great. Comfortable beds, great bathroom and shower, nice soap, delicious food (of course, expensive) but a good Starbucks and CVS across the street for budget-priced snacks and food. Large gym, nice indoor pool, very friendly staff....

Wanted a romantic five star hotel for an overnight stay with my boyfriend. Got a great deal on this room that included late check-out and valet parking. Hotel staff were very friendly and hospitable and the bathroom in our River view room was superb. Would definitely stay here again.

This was my first time staying at a Mandarin Oriental hotel and I left very impressed with the level of service. I've stayed at Four Seasons, Ritz Carlton and Rosewood properties before and consider the friendliness and professionalism of the staff here superior. We were greeted by name as soon as our car pulled up. We were upgraded to a...
