Great location, great bar/tavern below hotel, parking is a major issue and room had bad odor but was decent and comfortable bed. Close to dupont circle and a good value but parking is very troublesom. Hotel has no parking and street parking is ample but you cant park on the street between 4pm-630pm M-F. We had to pay to park... More

I stayed in this hotel in July 2015 for 2 nights and it absolutely was a bad choice. The only thing I like about the hotel is its location, the bar underground and the staff. Where shall I begin? The rooms are so small and make me feel claustrophobic. They have the most olds hook type of ventilation system with... More

This was one of the worst places I have ever experienced. The room had a soggy wet carpet with bugs in it. The beds were uncomfortable. The room smelled moldy. The staff were unfriendly. To enter the building you have to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke from the people going to bar downstairs. The whole lobby smelled like... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights arriving the 14th of June 2015. At first I was very sceptical to stay here based on the reviews, but with the great price for the location I decided to give it a go. I was pleasantly surprised. We arived at 6am in Washington DC after an 18 hour international flight.... More

Excellent location, safe neighborhood, easy walk to the metro. Comfortable room for the price. It was older and somewhat small but a good value for the price. Also, it was quiet on the night of the 4th, so a major plus.

I've been trying to stay at this small hotel (A European style inn, really) ever since it was the Brickskeller Saloon, and finally found an opening for one of my business trips to the District. After all, how can you beat staying at a place that's located in one of the most favorable locations in DC, for a rate that's... More

My wife and I stayed at the hotel for two nights. The hotel has pros and cons as follows: Let's start with the cons, for the price the room it was very small not to mention the closet of a bathroom, the WiFi does not work at all in any part of the hotel, the hotel has no parking so... More

We stayed here 4 nights. Rooms were rather small but large enough for 2 queen beds. Bath with shower only was very large in relation to size of room. Breakfast is available for additional $5 per adult. Husband & 11 year old grandson checked it out but decided we should go out. There is. Bagels & etc around the corner... More

Actually i enjoy beeing a senior in trip advisor to say nice things about hotels and restaurants. But i believe that i have the duty to alert people fron falling in a tramp. The baron hotel in washinghton dc is a miserable tramp. Starting with facts: The hotel has stairs to enter in no disabled person can enter. The elevator... More

Let me start by saying that I did not stay here, for which I am now so thankful. I booked a room at this establishment via booking.com at a rate that I felt was reasonably priced, given the 2 star rating for this "hotel". After a long day and arriving in the Dupont Circle area close to midnight, I went... More
