We picked The Baron hotel as it was the cheapest by far that we could find in a good central location. Our room was very spacious with 2 large double beds plus a large bathroom. The room could do with being updated, the furniture had seen better days and the wardrobe leant to the left! The bathroom particularly was in...

This hotel is located about 3 blocks from the DuPont Circle metro red line which makes it very easy to navigate the DC areas very quickly. We were also able to take buses very easily to the Georgetown area which is very close. That being said, the hotel is nothing to shout about. It is shabby and a bit run...

I don't have to tell you that Washington DC is an expensive town to visit. The Baron Hotel, while not cheap compared to, say, Albuquerque, is very reasonably priced for the location and the quality and safety it offers. It's in a nice neighborhood off Dupont Circle, not far from the Metro. We met the night guy and the morning...

Nice and quiet hotel. I was in the back. There is a bar connected to it but didn't hear any noise. Good location. Went running to the monuments. beautiful neighborhood to walk around. Room was clean and in good repair.

Hotel is in a great location. Lots of shops and restaurants in the area and 10 walk minutes to metro to go into centre of town. Hotel similar to what your would expect from a B&B. You could hear the entertainment from our room on 2nd floor however it was not too bad and I was so tired from seeing...

Our room was a bit shabby and air conditioning extremely noisy. But it's reasonably priced and it's in a good location. Easy transport into the centre and just round the corner from the excellent Phillips collection. The beer bar downstairs at the Baron is very well stocked with friendly staff and does food.

I arrived with my AmEx guaranteed room confirmation in hand. It was about 9:00 pm and they claimed to have no room available and would have to move me to their sister property (which was even worse). I very unhappily but patiently waited for the cab that they said they called to take me there. While waiting four more groups...

We stayed four nights. The hotel is located near (walking distance) Dupont Circle. Reception is a bit slow but friendly and accurate. The building is old but the room is OK and has all it needs. Not really big but adequate. A great asset is the bar downstairs with the many different kinds of beer (200?) and also bar food....

Good value for money, although there is a pub next door, still managed to get a good night sleep. Twin beds are big and comfortable. Good location with easy access to metro. Not the best hotel in terms of facilities but if you are looking to crash there after a long day of exploring D.C it is not bad at...

I would have rated this hotel atleast 4 for the ambiance and feel of downtown DC.. but first impression's last. We have a confirmed booking via booking.com so we got there early coming from an early flight. We do understand that it is hotel policy that check-in time is at 3PM---but when we were at front desk the person in...
