This is a mega-hotel that has sufficient room inventory for large conferences and is staffed professionally enough to ensure a well-run meeting. That has to be the only reason one would stay here. Disclosure: I was accompanying my spouse at a recent conference. The rooms are sterile. The HVAC system is noisy and tends to recycle at full force in...

We stayed in the newer part of the hotel, Tower 2 I believe. The room was nice, the location was not great, have never stayed in a room just off a street. The Human Rights Campaign (LGBTQ group) had a conference just starting as we were leaving the hotel. No problem with the group, but the hotel changed the restrooms...

Vacationed in DC with another family. Couldn't get rooms near each other which was ok. However, the difference in rooms was great. While our room in Center was very nice, our friends room in Tower was much less than good. In basement of hotel and disappointing. Rates were the same. If booking a room there, make sure you ask for...

It is a Marriott, no doubt, with all the great things that that brand promises. I was there for a conference and never left the building, as such one will find everything one needs without having to leave the building...I would think twice about this location if I am a tourist. It is not near the main attraction of the...

I stayed here with my two grown daughters Easter weekend. Location itself is great, right across the street from the Metro. But this is a huge property, with a distinct "Conventiony" feel to it. Rooms were clean, on small side, typical DC size. Parking @ $45 a night is steep, although again, this is DC. While I have no specific...

Excellent service, new TVs just placed. Modern appearing, quiet, close to good restaurants. I had a problem with the iron staining my dress shirt and they replaced the iron and same day dry cleaned the shirt free of charge. No WIFI in the conference rooms, which is the only clear weakness I saw and would prevent me from recommending for...

The Wardman tower room I had was gorgeous, renovated, and spacious. Much larger room than those I saw in the modern center tower. It had a Murphy bed which was nice to use when guests were visiting. Plenty of seating in this general room. Housekeeping must have missed vacuuming under the bed so I had to call to have the...

Staying at the hotel for a business conference. The food was good but a touch expensive like most hotels. The inside of the common area is much better looking that how it appears from the outside. The rooms are roomy and clean. The only really issue I had with the room was that the water in the tub ran out...
