Annie the manager was my primary point of contact during my 58 day stay and she and the rest of the team were amazing. The property is ideally located on the Wharf. Just downstairs is the marina, restaurants, shops and sometimes free live entertainment along the strip. The hotel still has covid protection measures in place as of today. The only thing that could have been better was the breakfast. Other hotels have resumed regular breakfast but this hotel is only offering one prepackaged (sandwich) hot item. The hotel does have other typical items offered that you would see at a continental offering. Overall this is a great hotel. I'll definitely prioritize staying at Hyatt on the Wharf in the future over other local options I've recently tried.

We were here for four nights over Memorial Day weekend. On the whole a good stay with a clean room, except behind the toilet(long black hair and candy wrappers and I am blonde and my husband is bald, so it was left behind), with a comfortable bed. I booked late, so I was only able to get a Riverview room, not "riverfront", but it did have a view overlookign National Harbor and the bridge. Room was as described. Note these are small rooms for Hyatt House brand, I'm sure because of location. We tried breakfast once and it is a grab and go, that had one person working and yelling at everyone "what's your room?" and if she has to restock then you don't get a hot sandwich or you have to wait. I hope this and other issues were short staffing because of just ramping back up. The bar was open one night, they told us it would open Sunday but they could never find their "bartender"...The Hyatt shares a courtyard with Hilton(Canopy) and they had a bustling bar and indoor and outdoor seating. Alll the food seems to be prepped at the Hilton, as there is no delivery and if you order you must pay and pick it up at the Hilton. The front desk was hit or miss. We had our adult children there for one night, so we had two more rooms and they were kind enough to put us all on the same floor, which is key, as the elevators are programed for your floor, the lobby or the pool. It is an issue if you are on the 9th floor, as ice is 3-8th floor, but not 9th. The hotel shares a pool with the Hilton. Small but nice. Valet parking available, again in front of the Hilton. We are Hyatt members and were never offered bottled water, told where to get it and twice I stopped by to ask and there was nobody at the front desk. I also very much felt as though I was disturbing the desk by stopping and asking a question. I hope some of the lack of attention and staffing is likely due to hiring on many new people and training and it seems as though they were short staffed also.

I rarely right reviews but I had such a pleasant stay that I just needed to let others know about it. The property is very new, in a newly developed part of DC that has a ton of bars and restaurants, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spacious. We also liked the outdoor gas fire pit tables. Really, we enjoyed every element of our stay.

Needed bread crumbs to find the entrance of the hotel after an 8 hour drive. Needed to tag team to get a bell cart from the check in floor to the parking garage. No bell station or parking attendant ANYWHERE. Then had to park a football field away under ground. It negated any experience after that. Breakfast was a whole lot of nothing.
