Our daughter got married at the line recently. The experience could not have been better. The staff was incredibly helpful, especially when we had to make several changes because of the weather. Our suite was lovely, and the rest of the hotel services, just emerging from Covid, were very good. I would highly recommend it.

In real life, this hotel looks NOTHING like the hotel pictured on its website. The main entrance is across from a homeless park. The entire hotel is dark and dreary. The rooms are a mish-mash of dirty, rusted, scratched furniture. The towels are threadbare. The lighting is dim. And the street noise will keep you up until 2-4 am. So be forewarned. This is NOT a luxury hotel. When they say “charming” they mean old and antiquated. Needs some serious renovations.

I can't give our experience at The LINE in DC any higher a rating/recommendation. It was our first time in DC, (a post-COVID Fam reunion). Sanja and Kenny were SO hospitable when we checked in, Sanja even upgraded our room view so we could see the Washington Monument, (converse with Sanja about being from Serbia, maybe she'll do you the same). Anyways, our Family all came up to see the view and everyone ended up checking into The Line the following night. We took over the 5th floor, it was a blast! Really cool walking, eating street adjacent and even just grabbing sandies and chillin' on the front steps was fun. Regretfully, didn't get to try the restaurant but it looked superb. And no joke, I may very well have my future wife at The LINE that weekend. But that's another story. Anyways, HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Say hi to Sanja and Kenny for us! (I feel like my name should be a discount code). ;D

Brent hi! Both Kenny and me (and the whole team) loved having you stay with us and we truly miss you! Although I love talking about Serbia, the reason I wanted to do something special is because i saw how excited you were to stay at the Line and to keep you guys as close to family as possible. And that view! We can't wait to welcome you back on your next visit and you absolutely have to try our restaurant and their delicious bites when you come back! Thank you for such an amazing review and we all hope to see you soon! Warm regards,

Impeccably designed. Wonderful service. One of the best locations in town. DC has few options like this hotel -- stylish, unique, and actually situated in a fun part of town. It's worth the price, so go check it out!
