Maritza´s is a beautiful colonial house, which has a great location in Trinidad, very close to all the sights, but still preserved from the noise that sometimes you will find in Trinidad. It offers the possibility of parking (parqueo) for your rent car, although I would definitely advise not to drive in Cuba as a tourist. Bedrooms have an ensuite...

This was our third Cuban casa so we were starting to learn our way around! Maritza was great, welcomed us in and we took a room she showed us to downstairs, without realising there were upstairs rooms as well. So glad we went to look because the rooms upstairs were so much better and we were able to swap. We...

We loved staying with Maritza and her girls. They looked after us really well and the accommodation on the terrace was roomy, clean and comfortable. We had seating outside and an opportunity to mingle with other guests which we enjoyed. Breakfast was a good selection of fruit with omelette, soft rolls, ham and cheese, jams, coffee and fruit juice. Maybe we...

We stayed with another couple for three nights. We had a warm welcome. Our rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast outside on the roof terrace each morning with lots to eat ( lovely bread) was perfect. The interior of the Casa is wonderful. Maritza and her family are great hosts. We also had dinner one evening which was excellent. Whilst...

From the outside there is no indication of the wonderful interior that lies inside. It is beautiful. Our bedroom was downstairs and very comfortable. There are also rooms upstairs that lead from the roof terrace. Breakfast was good with lots to eat. Location is also good, just round the corner from the Iberostar hotel and about 10mins walk from Plaza...

We spent ten days in Cuba; we truly feel that the very best part of Cuba is the people. And the very best example of that is Maritza Hernandez. Although Maritza’s English is limited, she has developed a robust vocabulary of sign language so that we had no trouble communicating with her, even asking for assistance. The rooms are scrupulously...

This was the last casa we stayed in during our trip to Trinidad. It wasn't the worst but it wasn't the best either. Maritza is lovely host and quite comical (in a nice way). The location is great. Right in the centre of Trinidad and it's within walking distance of all the tourists spot, shops and where you can book...

I spent 2 nights here. The only thing I regret is that I should have stayed longer. Maritza is quite a character: lovely, funny, chatty, passionate and very welcoming. Breakfast was tasty and the portions incredibly generous. This place is perfect.

We stayed here whilst travelling Cuba on our honeymoon and my 50th Birthday. We arrived quite late in the evening and were very hot and tired - the fresh lemonade we were given was so well received !!! Our room was at the top was lovely. Maritza did not speak much English but really our problem from not being able...
