Not much to add to other reviews. Try and book a room with a terrace and enjoy the afternoon sunshine. We ate here one night and were served some very good snapper. The family are polite and the rooms were very clean. The shower worked well!

We warmly recommend Casa Nilda : she and here family are very nice and helpful. The bedroom and bathroom are clean and confortable. Don't miss the very good diner, food is fresh and well-cooked. The location is perfect, at a walking distance of the city centre. The casa is a big traditional colonial style house, well regurbished.

Pretty good option. Rooms are all spacious, with high ceilings, and fairly decent showers etc. Communal balcony where you can sit and relax during an evening. The food was fine but not really worth the price - there's a restaurant round the corner which did better food for a few dollars less. Helpful in arranging very reasonably priced transport to...

Our travel company made last minute changes to our itinerary and we stayed in this Casa instead of a hotel on the coast. What a stroke of luck! Despite arriving during an afternoon of torrential rain that turned the streets into rivers, we had a warm welcome from Nilda who is a calm and composed gentle lady. Despite not speaking...

extremely comfortable, clean rooms. Excellent breakfast. Only disappointment was that being with a group scattered around town, we didn't get a chance to take supper at the casa - it looked delicious! Next time....!

If you are going to Trinidad do not miss Casa Nilda Ponce! We ended up a night late due to some airport delays but Nilda and her son could not have been more awesome. Lovely welcoming homestay property with delicious home cooked lobster. Some of the best we had in Cuba. Lovely welcoming staff and nothing was too much trouble....

I spent 2 nights at this casa in Trinidad. It is in an excellent location not far from the main square (walking distance). Nilda runs this place with her son Edal (who has a 1957 car and is a driver , but who happens to be the evening cook , and what a cook he is!). Her staff are also...

We would highly recommend Nilda's. They really take care of you and organise whatever you need (taxi, bikes). Nilda and her staff are incredibly kind. The house is beautiful and centrally located for exploring the center of Trinidad but far enough away from Casa de la Musica to not be disturbed by the noise (still short walk though). It is...

Should you stop by Trinidad don't miss the opportunity to stay here. In case you didn't book before getting there just skip the crowd of owner of casas particulares outside the Viazul stop and get to her place and check if she have a spare room or if she can recommend anyone else nearby. In case you stay here ask...

“If you are strong enough to carry your luggage up the stairs, then the upstairs rooms may be the best option, as views are good. Courtyard room good too. The 2 in the lounges face the dining room and lounge area with glass doors , but there is a plastic sliding door for privacy. The one room has window facing the street so you can hear all the activities even the early morning cry of "fresh bread" and the squealing of a pig being lead probably to the nearby butcher. The other room has no windows at all but has fan and air con. My guess it is a first come first serve basis - you can pick and choose and let them know the number of beds needed. One room has 3 beds.”
