The food was fine. Service was ok. Clean and everything looks fresh. The food was always good. They do their best with what they can get in Cuba 95% of Cubans will never see this kind of food ...Unless they worked at a hotel. Think about it...So don't act spoiled and you will have a better holiday.

I stayed at this hotel as my first trip to Cuba and my husbands first time leaving Canada. The hotel is about an hour and half bus ride from the airport in Cienfuegos, provided by the resort. The busses are new, clean, air conditioned and very comfortable. the hotel is old, however, it was very clean and well-kept. We had...

I guess this is an example of "you gets what you pay for" ha ha. The price was unbelievable from Toronto with a direct flight to Cienfuegos (not always available off season). The weather was great, the beach and ocean, superb. The downside was a closed pool, meager and repetitive food offerings and a "racket" on the beach. By 6:30am,...

Looked forward to returning. Last there in 1994. what a disappointment. The property is tired, needs refurbishing. many of the pervious attributes were either gone or not open. No pool, however the beach is good. Cannot take beach sun all day. no one advises the pool closed and you find out when you arrive. Majority of Cuban staff are always...

As the title says, my first experiencxe of all-inclusive. Pros:- Decent beach, OK food, comfortable bed with a sea view, bus service into Trinidad City. Cons:- All the main bars close at 10.00 pm, plastic containers for drinks, music everywhere including the dining room. Hard to find a quiet spot if you just want to read. Internet hit and miss.

I have been to Cuba twenty five times plus. Club Ancon is the worst. The hotel is in bad repair and the grounds are dangerous for walking for seniors. We arrived after a thirteen hour delay from Hola Sun. Then we had an hour delay while people were changing money. The tour operator told everyone you could change money at...

After reading so many negative reviews we had set our family Christmas stay expectations pretty low but what a pleasant surprise! The reception staff were very friendly and efficient helping us with all our enquiries whilst always smiling. Many of the bar and restaurant staff were chatty and all the cleaning staff were very friendly. The buffet restaurant was fully...

I have been to Cuba a dozen times and this is the worst hotel. Hot water was unavailable most of the time. If you reported it to the front desk, they would smile and write it down. The pool has been under construction (for years?). No sign of anyone working on the pool (an indication that it would not be...

Stayed here for 2 nights as part of the Thomas Cook Classic Cuba Tour. We arrived after 4pm & were given keys for our room but as we arrived we found it was still being cleaned. Once we finally got inside it was a bit of a disappointment. The rooms are in need of refurbishment, but we did have a...

Nice hotel with amazing views from rooms. Beach very rocky and disappointed beach bar closed at 4 when sunset was at 6. Food was just ok. Could use an executive chef for variety. Feature signature Cuban dinner items nightly. Staff very friendly. Beautiful pool and loved Salsa dance class and instructors.
