Beautiful rooms, friendly service and amazing cooking. Come here to re-charge. We have been here for 5 nights. It's truly one of the best places to relax I have ever been. The cooking is stellar with fresh, wonderfully executed meals and awesome views. It is expensive but absolutely worth it. Really. Better than four seasons (different but better). Jonathan, Tim...

Our recent stay at the boatsheds was amazing. I was disappointed we had no option but to book a villa but when we got there, I was glad we had. It was like a private house, with a superb view. We were welcomed with drinks and a platter. Transport was arranged through the island and there were lots of nooks...

Finished off a two week holiday here with three nights at the Boatshed. Everything was amazing. The views were beautiful, rooms pristine and a few minutes walk has you on a quiet beach. Jonathan, Jack, Jenny and staff were more than helpful in every aspect of our trip, from arrival to departure. Ian had meals coming out of the kitchen...

This was our first stop on our 2 wk+ tour of New Zealand. It was a great room and a great place to stay. Jonathan has set up a really unique property with awesome views and a tremendous kitchen and staff. Breakfast was certainly an event not to be missed. They did a phenomenal job with my wife's dietary restrictions...

We felt totally relaxed and at home the moment we arrived. The staff and owners were helpful and friendly. The food was amazing. Had the most amazing omelette for breakfast. Ian the chef cooked the most wonderful Asian meal one night which we particularly enjoyed. We enjoyed the views and the décor. Staying in a boatshed is our thing. It...

We stayed at The Boatshed for two nights, and it was a highlight of our three month adventure. The owners are lovely people, and nothing is too much trouble. We loved our Boatshed suite, which was simple and neutral in design, but with lovely homely touches. The food is superb, and they were very accommodating for our non meat diet....

We booked The Boatshed on the recommendation of our travel agent and we stsyed 2 nights. We were greeted with a chilled glass of white wine and some snacks. Our room was very comfortable and had a lovely view of the bay. The biggest surprise was how fantastic the set menu was. Each course was beautifully presented and equally delicious....

This place is a must-stay if you're visiting Waiheke Island. The Boatshed is unlike any other hotel we've seen. The set up is more like a living room than a hotel. The views are spectacular, the food is AMAZING and the staff are fabulous. Jack + Jen were the best and made us feel right at home. We are already...

Not quite like the countless hotels I've stumbled into and out of in a happily long life. Located on an understated, winery studded, touristy island across the bay from Auckland. Imagine a very wealthy and generous friend who has decided to have you and maybe fifteen or twenty other acquaintances for a long weekend. Sweet suite accommodations; a highly able...

Our Boatshed cabin was lovely, comfortable, and had a lovely view. The proprietors were foodies and the breakfasts, lunch and dinner served were incomparable. We ate very well at a vineyard but chose to eat at the Boatshed most often. We met interesting people and had lively wide ranging discussions. We will certainly go back here and we are from...
