I was immediately taken with the environment as soon as I arrived - a cosy wooden house hidden in the trees with decks & views. Dyan was a wonderful hostess & gave me lovely tea & cake when I arrived. The following morning I had breakfast in bed - cosy, fresh muffins, tasty .....didn't want to leave!

Again, we just made immediate decision to go to Waiheke Island. Took our rented car on the ferry and googled away the accommodation there but could not concentrate as the view is soooo scenic. When arrived, just drove around and found Punga Lodge. There were 2 types of accommodation avaikavle. Diane so lovely. We chose the cottage which opposite rainforest.... More

We had an amazing time. Dyan and Rob were lovely, very welcoming! Dyan's baking was incredible! They were both very friendly and helpful :) Definitely Recommend Punga Lodge! Loved the outdoor feeling, with the rainforest right at your door and the pet friendly environment!

a really lovely place to stay with Dylan and Rob being superb hosts. The facilities were excellent, a little oasis in the greenery. The afternoon teas were brilliant. We really enjoyed our three nights and indeed Waiheke. I left my iPad behind and Dyan went out her way to reunite me with it at the Half Moon Bay terminal by... More

First trip to Waiheke and did not know what to expect as room was suggested via wedding invitation. Arrived late on Friday night via ferry - transfer from ferry included - very welcome at after 10pm (don't rely on Auckland airport bus - another story!) Warm welcome from both Dyan and Rob who have been doing this for decades and... More

Dyan's home baking for the complimentary afternoon teas was enough in itself to warrant a TripAdvisor post. We had a terrific time on the island and were made most welcome at Punga, a perfect balance of hospitality and privacy. If and when we make it back to Waiheke, Punga will be our first choice for accommodation.

We fell in love with Waiheke and Little Oneroa Beach while we stayed at Punga Lodge. Dyan and Rob were excellent hosts, providing detailed information about ferries and taxis in an email prior to our trip. Very helpful. And when we arrived we were greeted to delicious afternoon tea. Everything was very clean and beds were so comfortable! It's just... More

This is an unusual review in that I didn't end up actually staying at the Lodge. This was due to a last minute illness of a baby and I had to cancel the booking. However, Dyan provided heaps of helpful information when I was making the booking (including helping with a baby cot), arranging a taxi to pick up from... More

Rustic, clean, and very friendly. Dyans home baking for afternoon tea and Robs fresh muffins for breakfast are awesome. Our rooms were more than adequate, each with Ensuite and lovely deck for outdoor sitting. Beds were very comfortable with excellent bedding. The continental breakfast was very good, with fresh fruit, juice, lots of cereal options and yogurt. Special dietary requirements... More

Good price, good location right next to little oneroa beach, very pretty setting, lovely hosts and afternoon tea was a complete surprise and extremely yummy. We stayed in room no. 2 which had a beautiful, calming view of the surrounding trees and shrubbery. All in all ........one to recommend.
