This was our first experience of staying in a B & B and it could not have been better! Janet and Ian welcomed us with wine and cheese and we sat in the lovely back yard surrounded by fruit trees and flowers. They told us the best places in Picton to try for dinner - the local knowledge was invaluable....

Janet and Ian are so welcoming and such lovely people. We were greeted by a delicious glass of wine and beer and an introduction to the area. The breakfast in the morning was warm and tasty. ` Our room was the one with a separate bathroom and shower outside, but that was not a problem at all. The shower area...

Hello. Thank you very much for your lovely review. We appreciate you enjoyed the room, the happy hour and the breakfast. We also thank you for mentioning that you had no issue with the bathroom outside the room. It is not shared with other guests so this does tend to make people a bit more comfortable. We hope your travels...

Lovely home and convenient to the ferry and all restaurants. Ian even picked us up from the ferry! The room was up to date with modern furnishings and a comfortable bed. Very nice cooked breakfast. The thing that really makes the stay pleasurable are Janet and Ian, and Happy Hour on their back deck with other guests. We wish we...

Janet and Ian are friendly and helpful hosts who were very informative about what to see and do. It was nice to share a glass of wine and nibbles with them and the other guests in the evenings. Our queen room was well equipped and comfortable, but the en-suite was very small, and had 2 steps up to the shower....

Ian and Jen were excellent hosts. Provided lots of local info on the area for tourists. Joined the guests for Happy Hour drink of wine provided by them at 5:30. King room was well appointed and very comfortable. Very "homey" feel. Great B&B choice.

What a delightful place to stay. The rooms are beautifully decorated. The hosts are fantastic - we were leaving very early in the morning and Janet and Ian left breakfast in the fridge for us. Close to town and quiet. Would rather stay there when we go down to Christchurch instead of trying to drive through the night to get...
