My partner and I stayed here for Valentine's Day and felt like we were in Paradise for an evening! From the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty - welcomed with a glass of Marlborough's finest, a complimentary upgrade to the spectacular Formal suite and, most impressively, genuine warmth from owner/manager/interior designer/head chef(!) Julearna and Jonno (one of...

We walked into a beautiful cafe / restaurant area with a great vibe and of course, Juliearna, the fantastic host and genius behind Escape to Picton. We were immediately greeted with coffees and offered several options for food, tours and of course all with a big smile and lots of enthusiasm. We were taken to our room (I forget the...

Wow! This place is amazing. From the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty. From the welcome glass of wine on the deck, the soak in the bath, every possible thing to make us feel welcome was perfect. We also dined in the restaurant, enjoying the local seafood and the friendly attentive staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel...

Everything about our three night stay here exceeded our expectations. Juliearna, the owner, is an unstoppable ball of entrepreneurial energy who has a long tradition of owning and managing high-end accommodations. She greeted us after a long 7 hour drive from Christchurch with a friendly welcome (and an even more welcome glass of excellent sauvignon blanc!). She offered us a...

Wow we are so glad we stumbled across this little gem located in the heart of Picton. This boutique style accomodation is an elegant place to stay and is in he heart of Picton. We stayed as a family in the modern suite. The room was generous in size, with large king size bed and quality linen, large bathroom with...

The room was gorgeous and the staff attentive, it was a gem in the heart of Picton. Staying only 2 nights we wished we could have stayed longer. I would strongly recommend the hospitality as it was second to none. Small tip is to visit Bob's Bay, E-KO Tours and if you have a bike check out the queen charlotte...

We dined at this Restaurant this evening. Our service was great, very friendly staff. Our Oder was taken promptly and our drinks were served quickly. Our Entree was ver well presented and we were offered a brochure on the beef that was served. Our wait staff checked that we were happy with our entree, cleared our plates promptly and our...

I am actually posting this review from the freestanding tub in the formal suite. I have just returned from swimming with wild dolphins and I'm warming up, with a cold glass of sparking wine and a book. They may not be able to get me to leave tomorrow. I googling immigration and realtors in Canada. This is heaven, how do...

We had the downstairs room for the first night and then moved to the very posh and luxurious Formal Room with a lovely bath and shower room. Toiletries were of the best lavender products, heated towel racks, excellent linen and bedding. Bathrobes for after showers, hairdryer and a cold jug of water with fresh fruit and lemons on the dresser...

I would call this a luxury Inn. There is a great restaurant and bar downstairs and 3 suits, one downstairs and two on the second floor. Our (modern) suite (second floor) was expansive with a balcony overlooking the street and marina beyond, a living area with high ceilings, bedroom with wood shuttered windows, and a very large bath with separate...
