From the moment we arrived until our goodbye 40 hours later we felt very welcome. The Hosts, the house and the view were perfect. Good beds and good bathroom. The olive tasting on the terrace was wonderful.

We celebrated our 20th anniversary in this delightful B&B and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect. So much thought and care has been taken to create this beautiful haven. Our room was luxurious and so peaceful with amazing views over the rolling lush fields out to the bay. Annette's breakfasts were first class and she and Chris were wonderful and attentive hosts....

Stayed for two nights and the hosts could not have been more welcoming and helpful. Breakfasts were a treat and an olive oil tasting on our balcony an unexpected delight. Our room was tastefully furnished and had plenty of space for luggage and clothing. Fantastic - a B&B with a bath (in the bathroom). A roll-top indulgence with views to...

Really enjoyed our stay here, sadly only for 1 night. Nice comfortable room. Good bathroom. Very clean. Excellent breakfast. Very nice but not overbearing hosts. Would recommend and stay again (2 nights next time).

Had a wonderful stay at the Olive Grove. Would highly recommend. The extra touches like homemade lemonade, homemade biscuits and candles in the room were most welcoming. The rooms are of a very high standard in a peaceful location. The owners were very welcoming and the Eggs Benedict were the best I have ever had. Perfect for a weekend away...

The "Olive Grove" was our first accommodation in NZ and the perfect start into our adventure. The hosts are very nice and attentively. We had a very comfortable and quiet room with an incredible view to the bay. The hosts produce their own olive oil. You can try and buy.

We would have stayed longer had we known how nice Akaroa and particularly this place to stay. Only about 90 minutes away from Christchurch it is a world of its own. The B&B is a great place, in fact the best place to stay in the area. The rooms have outstanding views , are large and very well appointed. Lovely...

We had such a levels stay .... The rooms are very comfortable and spacious.... The small touches made our stay very delightful, from the homemade lemonade to the Christmas mince pie .... Breakfast is brilliant ... Would definitely recommend this as a stay in the country side

What a lovely surprise to discover this gem of a place. The bedrooms are decorated with taste, a good size surrounded by paintings by one of the owners . Beautiful views overlooking Robinson Bay near Akaroa. Five minutes drive into Akaroa where there are a good selection of restaurants. We loved the 'Little Bistro' which served fresh oysters and fish...
