We spent a fabulous two days at a gorgeous mansion called The Beaufort House. The breakfast was divine with everything you could possibly want and the canapés and refreshments to start off the evening were spectacular. If ever you find yourself in the beautiful village of Akaroa we highly recommend this is the place to stay at. The bedrooms and...

We spent one wonderful night at this stunning bed and breakfast and would absolutely recommend it to anyone who appreciates the finer things in life. Our hostess has thought of everything from home made butter biscuits in your room with china tea service, fresh flowers by the bed and choice of wine and ordheurves before you head out for dinner....

A most wonderful B&B! Beautiful antiques, lovely gardens, fresh breakfasts. All the details have been taken care of. Every little consideration has been carefully thought out. And if by some remote chance you do need something, Sharon and Noel will do their best to accommodate. (Ice...😀) We were only here for two nights but would have loved to stay much...

We spent only one night in Akaroa, and this was a lovely place. So Victorian in every sense: delightful innkeepers, lovely & sometimes kitschy furnishings, comfy/warm bedrooms, delicious breakfast, beautiful gardens. Highly recommend.

A lovely stay, pity it was just for the night, but pour hosts were most obliging by letting us have a late checkout. We arrived late in the afternoon to find our host, Sharon, waiting and welcoming us to Beaufort House. Our name and other guests names were displayed on a board at the entrance to the house which was...

Beaufort House is extremely comfortable. It's set in lovely grounds (with a vineyard behind) and has luxurious facilities inside. The beds are great, the breakfasts are delicious, the hostess is extremely helpful and the showers are exceptional.. I've stayed in Akaroa three times now and this was by far the best of the places we've stayed. I've already recommended it...

A beautiful setting, a gorgeous B&B, the perfect hosts and the best breakfast in New Zealand. We couldn't have asked for more - apart from being able to stay for longer. Beaufort House is a 'must do' experience. We will be going back!

This excellent property is a treat and sets an exceptional level of standard, comfort and old world charm. It's central enough to walk to central Akaroa and with just enough elevation to capture views and the sun. Quite simply, just book it !. Words here will never capture what awaits you.
