We stayed for 2 nights and were made really welcome by Paul who was a most considerate and helpful host in every way. Our room was comfortable and well appointed and the property is within walking distance of the lovely little town of Akaroa, albeit up a steep hill. The views from the property are quite stunning! We had a...

Paul was a fabulous host. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable. We didn't take up the breakfast. Walking distance to the township if you don't mind a walk back up a smith street is easy. Lovely view from the balcony. Good choice for a short stay in Akaroa.

I left my email address and followed up with 3 seperate emails but still no receipt! I would also prefer to write...

Sitting on the top deck, glass of wine in hand and looking over the bay at sunset is what holidays are about. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Breakfast next morning was continental with beautiful fresh fruit, home made muesli, toast etc Absolutely delicious. Thank you Paul for your hospitality and wealth of information.

After returning from the 2 day version of the Banks Track we were wonderfully welcomed by our very engaging host Paul, apparently well versed in greeting tired walkers. Very helpful re: town's restaurants, any laundry needs, shoe drying, you-name-it. Room and bed very good. Breakfast next morning was best rendition of the 'NZ Continental' that we came across. Love those...
