This place is an absolute gem! For a start, it is very convenient, a short walk from the TEZ railway station and with a supermarket within walking distance. The highlight was my balcony with its incredible view. I also appreciated the large rooms with their simple but tasteful decoration. The owners speak English (and other languages) fluently, and are generous with their time and extensive local knowledge. Follow their advice and you will find many good walks to explore the mountains. And of course they know about the various restaurants and other attractions in the area. Of course the reason to stay here is not so much the Penzion as the whole environment to which it gives access.

What a great place to stay. The decor is very outdated but functional. Price was excellent for what you get. Good WiFi, friendly staff, hot showers (shared). There is a train station just out the front but there is no ticket sales there. If you need a ticket buy online or walk to Stary Smokovec. Would definitely return.

The guy at the door (staff) was really nice. Funny and friendly. The room we had was nice and comfy. The only bad thing was the bathroom, it could have been a little bit better (larger, cleaner, the pressure bigger etc.)

Good location. Cheap price. I do not like the smell, dust in room. I thing breakfast is expensive, because nothing special. Parking lot is small. Take your own towels - penzion give very small tawels..

We a really enjoyed holiday at Pension Partizan! It's a very good place for hikers with perfect location, just few minutes from railway and bus station. In restaurant you can expect typical Czech and Slovak food and of course beer (Pilsner €1.60 Saris €1). Breakfast and Dinner cost only €3.50. Rooms are basic, do not go there if you are planning all inclusive holiday. Rooms doesn't have toilet and shower, you have to share, you can found them on each floor.

This place is more for active people than relax. Simple but clean rooms with washbasin and radio, bathroom is shared. They also have single rooms for a good value. Staff is very kind and they keep restaurant open until last guests leave. The selection of food is small, they offer half board as well. I only tried breakfast, a bit overpriced for what they offer but they can do early breakfast which is very convenient if you want to hike early in the morning. Location is also very good, 3 mins from train, 15 mins walk to Stary Smokovec.

A simple, non-fashion hotel, with good service and easy access to trails etc. Extra plus for the breakfast which was extensive and with different content every morning. Dinner, we chose half-board, was in Slovakian-style and OK. And finally; just the name of the hotel makes it worth staying there. :-)

great place n location friendly owners will definatly return close to rown and the slopes and parking is avalible if needed just be aware the area is kinda dead at night so if u need any thing get it much earlier but overall great thx
