We liked Calcada Guesthouse a lot. We had room 3, one of the two rooms on the bottom floor that do not actually have a window with a view. Instead, they have a small patio with table and chairs and sliding doors including screens. At first this seemed a little strange, but we got used to it and indeed found...

Charming, little spot in old Tavira. Andy, the British guy who runs it, is incredibly helpful. He even found us and guided us to the place. Clean, attractive rooms and breakfast on the roof. Would love to go back!

We spent 8 days at the Calcada Guesthouse and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts Andy, Daniel, and Andrea. We were picked up from the airport and delivered back in good time, enjoyed excellent breakfasts with freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee, yoghurt, muesli, cheese, ham, home-made bread, and croissants, and were within walking distance of all the major...

We'd loved our stay at Calcada Guesthouse. A beautiful boutique guesthouse/hotel in Tavira (probably one of the best guesthouses we've stayed in). The guesthouse has a great location (just a few meters from the center of Tavira, but really quiet), stylish spotless rooms, a comfy bed and a delicious breakfast (served on the roof terrace). And the service was also...

Stayed at Calcada in Sept. while attending a family wedding. Andy arranged transfer from airport. Andy and Daniel looked after us very well. Accommodation was amazing, great location and well maintained. Breakfast served every morning on the rooftop balcony. Food was excellent in terms of quality, quantity and service. Other members of the family also stayed here and were similarly...

This B & B is very special, wonderful all around, breakfast was delicious, bedroom perfect, cleanliness spot on and so peaceful and quiet. Lovely place to stay for total relaxation. Yes, peerless is the only way to describe this amazing establishment. What Andy has created here needs to be experienced to be believed. The level of service and attention to detail is incredible. We had a family wedding in Tavira last week and it was our great good fortune to find this oasis of luxury. The breakfast alone, in time,...

Previous reviews have said it all-almost! We ve just had a most enjoyable 6night stay in calcada. What a lucky find. From the moment we arrived we were treated to gold star treatment. The house is so comfortable, spotlessly clean and the breakfasts just superb. Andy, Daniel and Andrea could not have been better hosts , nothing was too much...

Everything was perfect during our stay at Calcada Guesthouse ! The house is really beautiful, it's been fully renovated and everything was carefully thought and decorated with so much good taste ! Our bedroom was extremely clean, cosy and comfortable. The rooftop is awesome and offers a great view over Tavira. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer...
