Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Hotel is located in a very nice place not far from the town center but if you want to relax and rest it is a good one. Receptionist were all friendly and helpful, breakfast was amazing, room was a bit small but it was only for sleep so it was fine. Our fridge wasnt working but we didnt complain because we didnt needed it. Sinks are pretty short but all clean rrom and tidy. Really happy with our stay, really nice view if you book a room on the 4th floor.

I have spent 2 nights at the hotel. Reception staff very friendly, breakfast delicious with big variety of food and local specialties . Had no chance to taste the dinner . Rooms with balcony and nice view on the mountains. Room was neat and clean, with mineral water and coffee/tea . The only minus for me was the bathroom - very small and below overall hotel standard.

"Very Good" is probably a little on the generous side but "Average" seems distinctly harsh. The hotel does exactly what it should do without inspiring. Rooms are simple, functional and clean: we had a small balcony, which was nice. Easy walk down to shops, restaurants, bars and the hotel has a decent bar itself with an excellent selection of Vodkas. Staff friendly. No complaints.

We stayed in this hotel with our 2.5yrs old son and my parents and enjoyed its atmosphere and friendly staff. The hotel has a big playroom, billiards and table tennis, very rich breakfast buffet and it’s in a premium location just opposite Inhalatorium. It is a 3* hotel but the breakfast buffet can easily compete with those from 4* establishments. It is definitely better than any pension and comes at a friendly price making your stay affordable and genuine.

We visited Navigator for some dessert. We were waiting to order for about 10-15minutes no one came to take order so we went to order by ourselves to counter. We waited for 20 minutes for our coffee and dessert to arrive.Coffee was cold and dessert wasn’t warm as well we had fondant. No one even come and check on us is everything ok the saddest thing was that the 2 ladies who works were to busy chatting with each otheres than providing service to guest. Couldn’t ever say back goodbye when we where leaving.
Very very disappointing.

Since 2002 I have visited SPA Szczawnica navy hotel NAVIGATOR with bikers from all over the world. Located in the heart of green Park on the slope of estinquished volcano, in protected reserve of little horseshoe bats and owls.Facilities of hotel need to be improved. Gain is the lift to 5th floor, drink bar at the lounge, but you can order beer on the first floor in the restaurant. However the staff was always friendly and helpful. There is no ramp for wheelchairs, prams or bikes just to entrance. That was big trouble for Tomguide to carry up 20 bikes. General I had very positive impession and miss that place .

One of these places from the old times we all want to forget. Clearly someone has tried to do something about it, but simple lifting is not good enough for this kind of places. Three good things I can say about the hotel are (a) location, close to all the places you would want to be in Szczawnica; (b) it is clean and (c) the breakfast is OK. But would love to see any local food on the table.

Apart from this:
- a hotel in the medical SPA, part of medical SPA group does not have a handicapped access; this is simply an unbelievable shame. Not to mention that anyone trying to carry heavy luggage up these stairs would have trouble. Shame on you...
- bad are terrible. Cheapest falling apart furnitures, with the softness of a wooden board. Plus I hate to book a twin room which only has two bad put together instead of one big one.
- there is no air condition in the room and any sort of ventilation is none existent.
- Gym is just a joke. Terrible quality stuff that does not work anyway. Nothing you can use. Plus it is locked away, you have to go to the reception to get the key.
- Noone is smiling there - OK, except for one older lady in the reception. It has really been a long time for me to walk into the hotel and don't hear "good day". They treat guests like trouble. And these stupids signs like "don't carry food out of the restaurant".
- Room we had was small, the door to the wardrobe barely worked, the door to the shower was barely working as well. And this squeaking floor driving you crazy...
- Wifi is there barely to get you irritated. There is no other use for it, at least not on the higher floor. It works OK close to the reception.

OK, I better stop here, however could go on and on. I left the place, will not see it again. I don't know who gave it three stars hotel quality. For this price (around 45 Euro) you can find something really nice around, don't waste it here.

Never again.
