Fantastic hotel in a very good location, close to the center and 15 min walk to the promenade.
We stayed 6 nights in an Executive Suite with kitchen in the hotel complex. The suite consists of a living room, kitchen and bedroom and there is also a separate bedroom via a staircase upstairs. The suite is very spacious. Only flaw is that the air conditioning in our bedroom did not work and unfortunately this was not fixed during our stay, despite this being reported. The mechanic and receptionist did visit, but could not find the issue and would report it to the general manager. Unfortunately, I haven't heard from or seen anyone since.
We booked breakfast and dinner. Plenty of choices, something for everyone. Dishes are mainly Polish dishes, but very tasty.
Nice swimming pool. The pool is open until 8pm for children and from 8pm until 10pm it is adults only. There is also a gym and you can also book massages (book in advance).
Nearby there are many activities to do, such as canoeing, rafting on a traditional Polish fleet through the górale etc..
From the hotel you can go up stairs to a street with shops such as, supermarket, ice cream shop, local shops etc.. very nice to walk around in the evening.

We spent their weekend only, but experience is very good. In the evening, from 21:00 till 23:00 we were able to spend nice time in spa area (swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi) and there were no children at all, that made evening perfect. Though during the day a lot of them there. Rooms are big and have even a small kitchen. There are bathrobes, slippers, normal hairdryer and iron in the room. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of options to choose from. There is nice bar to have a drink in the evening. Hotel is located next to the nice walking area.
Though I had a negative experience with the shampoo that wasn’t in the bottle in the middle of my shower and I wasn’t able to wash my hair. Cleaning ladies apparently forgot to refill it. The balcony is nice but small. And we didn’t have a good view room, because it was on the ground floor. Also we had to pay additional 30 zloty for parking lot and taking into account high price for the stay in general, I would expect it to be for free for guests. Also spa for couple (massage and stuff) wasn’t available during the weekend.
Hotel was nice and clean. Locations is perfect. Recommended!

The hotel is very comfortable, breakfast tasty with a great choice . Hotel location gives opportunity to walk within few minutes to the city park, center as well as boulevard by Grajcarek river. The only imperfection of this facility is the pool area. It is too small and too crowded. There should be some limitations on the number of people comming in. Maybe time reservations would be a solution?

Response from Szymon Wasowski, General Manager at Szczawnica Park Resort & Spa
Responded 30 Aug 2022
Dear Sirs, thank you very much for your opinion. A new building with an additional swimming pool has been opened in our resort a month ago. That should solve the problem with the overcrowded pool in the main area. Hope to see you back soon! Szymon Wasowski - Hotel Manager

Good/Bad: Bedroom was too warm. The only bedding option was a comforter It would be nice to have the ability to use a lighter quilt or blanket instead. Bathroom shower was awkward since it was designed in a corner - wedged into the space between toilet and sink, when you turn on the shower, it sprayed into the room. Breakfast buffet was the highlight of the stay. It is the largest buffet we have ever experienced. Top notch on that feature! The pizza restaurant needs to improve the quality of the pizza, use better dough and sauce so that it is a true Neopolitan. Merlot wine was not quality, it was below what I would expect for even a "house wine". Lots of families using both pools, would be nice to have at least a hot tub where children were not allowed. The grounds were lovely and it will be cool to see what they do with the old Wanda House that was built in 1939.

Overrated resort far away from 5 star at Max 4 star. Well located. Very small swimming pool and spa with a cold water. Breakfast nothing exceptional. . Paying parking fée - scandal. It should be included since people already pay a high price. Nice rooms well designed with no phonic isolation between rooms. I could hear my neighbour watching tv. Missed cleaning service, unacceptable for 5 star resort I think there is still a lot to learn particularly how to treat a client. The only rooms that have value are the ones with a river view the rest is like staying in a parking lot unless you like to watch your car .

We stayed here at the end of June 2020 for a weekend. It was our first time away after the covid19 lockdown and we were very pleased. All staff wore masks and gloves and the food at the breakfast buffet was served by the waitstaff. The hotel (pool, rooms, common areas) was very clean, staff was very attentive, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend!

The hotel is new, modern well designed. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is very rich, with lots of choices and a big plus is that the buffet changes from day to day (not entirely but there is different salad each morning and different sweets. The staff is nice and polite. The pool is nice although could have been bigger. Good idea is that from 9pm to 11 pm it is allowed only for adults (earlier it is not possible to swim due to crowds/children). In overall, there is not much to criticise. One thing would be the safe in the room, which is too small to fit laptop. Another is the fact that there is no standard daily cleaning service, only upon request but this is just an excuse and a convenient way in many hotels during Covid. While on the subject, the safety rules are obeyed better in comparison to other hotels. Oh, and location of the hotel is just perfect and has a lot of parking space :)

The hotel is located in a great location, with a view of the Pieniny mountains and the Grajcarek river. Both : service and rooms are of the highest standard. In my opinion, these 4 stars are too little for such a great hotel. The building itself is eye-catching, and perfectly suits the mountain environment, and the views from it are unforgettable. Upon arrival, we received a room of a higher standard than we expected and we are grateful to the service, management and owners for a very pleasant surprise :D . We were there all week and it was a pity to leave such a beautiful place. We recommend everyone to stay in such a charming hotel

A wonderful hotel, impressive in terms of interior design, cleanliness, service and attractions it provides. When a problem is reported to the reception, the service responds immediately. Very professional staff at the reception. Very nice ladies at the SPA and great treatments in a quiet atmosphere. During our stay, we only had breakfast in the restaurant, a huge selection and everything was tasty. The evenings are made more pleasant by live vocal performances. I will definitely come back and recommend it to others.

With no doubt this hotel is the best one in Szczawnica and presumably the whole Pieniny Mountains area. Perfectly situated in the heart of Szczawnica directly at the banks of the river. All attractions and many restaurants in walking distance its a great place to discover the Pieniny Mts. We had a Junior Deluxe Suite which featured two levels with two kingsize beds plus additional two sofa's which can be extended to beds. The room had also a decent kitchenette which allowed for an early morning coffee in the room. The restaurants offers for breakfast a wide variety of tasty food and for the evening a la carte or buffet dining. However there was one downturn and this was the cleanliness of our room. For such a fantastic hotel I would have clearly expected more.
