Nicely renovated building, centrally located, comfy rooms, good wi-fi. It was fantastic to fall asleep listening to the lulling sound of the Venta waterfall :) Wonderful view of the town scene from the restaurant. Good breakfast, with eggs, porridge and coffee prepared to order. Attentive, pleasant staff. Highly recommended!

The person at the check-in counter did not say any word upon our arrival, not to speak of getting up from his more than relaxed position. We showed him our reservation confirmation, he did something on his computer and handed over the key cards-all without a word. The room was okay, split-level with the bathroom downstairs, nothing for the elderly.... More

We liked so stayed an extra night. Large comfortable room on the third floor and once we'd figured out how to open a large window set in the ceiling with a special pole next to the door leading to the rooms, it was cool and pleasant. Just close it when it rains. We had dinner there one night which was... More

Definitely one of the best hotels in Kurzeme ( western region of Latvia ) .Excellent position in historical center, interesting (4 star level ) rooms ,free parking, very good "a la carte " restaurant with local fish and meat... Not so good : old TVs with just 8 channels( latvian + german ) & breakfast ,typical for 3 stars .

.. And that was a mistake. Its very cheap - wow. But it was soooo bad. Some fish from the freezer, coated in cheese and cold rice. The soup was not hot at all, and not spicy, as advertised. Coffee and wifi was fine. Would not come back - to disappointed with the set lunch menu.

The hotel is conveniently located and offers plenty of free parking space. The room was worn down. It had a skylight with a broken curtain and another window without one. The bed was the worst though. It creaked like crazy waking us all the time and we were glad it survived the night without falling apart. That said, the room... More

We had a bit of difficulty finding the hotel, due to most of the access roads to Kuldiga town centre being worked on and - in the end, we parked up and found it on foot, before walking back to the car. However, once we got there, there is plenty of parking in the área - the hotel is at... More

We visited ONLY the restaurant on our way through Kuldiga, since our usual suspect 'Pagrabins' was closed. Must say this is a very nice alternative - well rounded menu, tasty food, nice service and reasonable price after all. Given that options to dine are limited around here (at least to my understanding), this definitely makes the top of the list... More

The hotel's restaurant has the worst service I've ever seen! After waiting for more than an hour (noone warned or apologized to us for such a slow service), we asked, how long we have to wait for the order to come, and commented that such a long waiting time is unacceptable, we got the answer "I hope soon " and... This is a very nice hotel ideally situated on the main square in charming Kuldīga. Our room was a huge two-story affair with a sitting room below and a bedroom and large bathroom upstairs. This place had many exceptional touches but fell short on a few more basic things. We had a huge jacuzzi tub, for example, but no shower... More
