I come from Norway. Went to Tallinn early July 2022, took a train to Narva and checked in at Central Hotel in the evening. I travelled alone, and had booked a room for four nights. The check-in was quick enough, got the key and a direction for my room. My room number was 23, this may be important for you if you want to check in here. The view was the backyard. The room was simple, double bed, tv, two chairs, a desk. I had to search a little to find a socket to charge my phone and kindle. Bathroom with four towels, soap and shampoo. Wifi-network for each floor, as I understood it. Breakfast was simple, but ok. Room walls are like made of paper, so everything you do others will hear. And everything others does, you will hear. Ceiling was squiking and sqwaking every time somebody walked over the floor, the steps down from third to second floor, which was close to my room, was even worse. Every morning at six, six thirty I woke up from people who marched through the corridor pass my door, like elephants. Slamming doors and talking loud. The smoking area is located in the backyard, directly under my window. So every time someone had the need to inhale poison to their lungs they went outside and stood under my window. Because of this I usually didn't open my window, except some hours at night. The staff is polite, speaking russian and some english. The hotel is about 15 minuts walk from the railway station, ten minutes from the Narva river. A couple of super markets are close, Lidl and Rimi. Rimi is closest, about two minutes, you'll find it in the Fama shopping center. Lidl is not my first choise, but I guess it's up to you to decide. You find some pubs close to the old town by the border control. If you want more shops and center-like areas I suggest you walk pass Fama, and continue five ten minutes.…
We spent a nice weekend in the hotel. Room very large and cozy.Sleepquality is one of the best. Breakfast good and alot of choises. Location super-city center 500 meters and also attractions nearby.Recommend it warmly because the price is cheap.
15 to 20 min walking from train/bus station and even shorter from the Russian boarder. Rooms are pretty small but clean and has own bath room with shower. The area is quiet and has three good restaurant very close. All the sights are within walking distance. If you wish to visit Narva Joesuu spa hotel area, there is a bus stop very close to the hotel and the ride is free.
This hotel is well situated mere yards from restaurants, shopping malls, and the best tourist sites in the historic city of Narva. I highly recommend this hotel as it is a great value for the money. Definitely not a five star, but better than others in this area fit much less. Thank you Katia for making us feel so welcome. Will return when in Narva.
This hotel will get the job done. Good location close to Narva College the city center. The breakfast wasn't the best, however. There is also a small shopping center within walking distance if you forgot something.
The hotel is located less than 10 minutes walking from border. Close to hotel there is also a shopping center. Room is simple but warm and has everything you need. Breakfast is also good; they had also highchair for my daughter and they cooked dedicated meal for her. I left the car there 9 days in their covered garage for 10€/day. Price was cheap. Staff was friendly and they were talking a good English. Suggested!
Unluckily we had following negative experiences in this hotel: - without any notice in advance (we had mail and phone contact) we were charged E. 30,- for storing our bicycles. The manager refused any solution and she stayed in her office and only communicated cowardly through her assistant. - Due to a general problem in town we had no warm water - Our blankets were to short
Friendly welcome, clean room and bathroom. OK continental breakfast. Al in all a friendly and clean place to have a night sleep before crossing the border to Russia by foot the day after. Central Hotel is centrally located within walking distance from the train and bus station. Good and free wifi.
Nice lately renovated hotel with good service. Our room was in the 3rd floor and noise from the street was disturbing . Slight smell in the room reminded the Russian.. Room was simple but good enough for short stay. Breakfast was simple but again, enough for us. Yoghurt, some cereals, bread, jam, Cheese and ham. There was parking for cars in the hotel yard, behind the locked gate. We paid 5 € to get our motorcycle safe in the locked garage.
I really don't understand. Hotel is cheap and with good location. What else u could ask for? Beds are comfy and rooms are small but everything is working well. Some noise from outside but didn't affect me or my girlfriend's sleep at all. I would recommend this and come here again.
