Visited Valmiera and stayed in hotel Wolmar for two nights. Arrived in the evening. Check in was fast, every visitor must present an Covid vaxination certificate. Also wearing masks are mandatory indoors like in general in Latvia. There`s also a parrot named Charlie in the lobby and he likes to talk. But I think the hotel should get him a feathered friend though. Free car park for visitors is situated behind the hotel, entrance/exit are one house away from the hotel building. Part of the car park behind the building is used as a terrace for the restaurant in summer time. The street side room was nice size, clean and comfortable. As it was late evening we also decided to have dinner in the hotel restaurant. As the weather was nice and warm, we sat in the terrace. Menu was good and there were quite enough items to choose from. Service was really nice and good. As we were satisfied with the hotel restaurant, we had dinner there also on our second evening. We slept quite well. Dinner was ok, tables both inside and the outside terrace. Food options were not quite many but that is understandable in current situation. Wifi in our room was …and wasn’t…and was… Really unstable, so using it for work was not an option. Overall really nice stay and would stay there again when visiting Valmiera…

Localtion is some 700m off the town center. Very budget minded price and nice, clean room. Safe parking. Enjoyed our stay, off the most common choices. Breakfast is served, not buffet. Somehow felt odd to get so much items we do not eat, and still feel hungry as there was little our traditional breakfast items. Also would like to have more coffee and juice, but saw no reason to wait.

Stayed one night. Safe parking behind the Hotel for motorcycles and cars. Nice terrace and very nice staff. Good clean room with working aircondition. Good location, walking distance to center. Gteat price/quality.

Very excited we were going to this hotel, mostly because sauna and jacuzzi. As we came in no hello, no welcome, no nothing, bored receptionist without glasses, was just sitting there like were troubling her. We paid and that's all, she gave us keys and didn't say anything, I asked what room, then she told us. I asked about sauna, - oh today not possible there are some other people. Come on, can't you inform us when we made reservation, I don't give any damn about other people sauna should be for everyone not only for white rich kids. Disappointing. This woman probably had some pineapple pina coladas yesterday with her single ladies inner circle under 35. She Didn't tell us what time is breakfast, we came back and asked. Breakfast was ok. Parrot in bar area was great he said "Hi" when we were leaving the building. …

We were super excited for the weekend in Valmiera. Chose this hotel for the sauna and spa facilities only to be told that they are booked for a private party that day and night and next morning - doesn’t seem a fair way to do business, since they advertise that spa is for all hotel guests and had we known it is not the case we would not stay there. Also the lady at the reception was not welcoming at all and rather annoyed with I dont know what. On the positive site- location is nice, breakfast was good.

We stayed in this place for one night off season. The place is clean, polite staff and quite nice rooms. They claim to be 4stars but some things say they are not. Like an empty fridge missing heater remote so you cannot change the room temperature. But again the breakfast was great, they serve good quality natural coffee, the place is literally in the centre of the city. I do recommended this place.

Had a nice stay at this hotel. The hotel looks very modern, everything has a nice design. The room is big, the bed is enormous. Free parking is available behind the hotel. The breakfast was good. We did not like the pillows, they were very soft. We would recommend this hotel.

Good, modern hotel if you come with a car. Otherwise, a bit off. Good parking. Ok restaurant. Breakfast buffet limited and a bit boring. But nice croissonts ;-). There is a sauna, but only against a fee and pre booking. Reception staff ok. In the restaurant a bit "sleepy" both evening and morning.

15 minūtes walk from bus station. Lovely hotel, staff on reception very helpful. Supermarket next door. We ate in the restaurant, the food was good but small portions. Serving staff miserable. The only negative if your in the restaurant is the noise that Čārlijs (the parrot) made constantly. Really feel sorry for bird in that cage all day. Breakfast is a buffet affair which was good.
