Just got back from Riga, this hotel is excellent value for money. I stayed in a twin room for 3 nights and it cost £100 between us. The rooms are very big, probably twice the size of a standard travel lodge and very clean. They don't have much in the way of facilities, a tiny TV, toilet and shower is...

We spent three pleasant nights at Hotel Kolonna. Our en-suite room was clean, compact and quiet on the sixth floor. We are both tall and found the sloping attic ceiling a bit hazardous especially in the bathroom. The buffet breakfast when fully stocked offered a variety of choices but the young assistant had difficulty in replenishing the coffee and hot...

We spent three nights in this hotel with my friend. The location is good, near "everything". The occupation museum is very close (I recommend, if you are interested in history and can read englisg/german/russian). Hotel is next to a Sweet day cafe, which is really cute, affordable and the drinks and sweets are really good. Hotel has a very friendly...

Stayed at this hotel for three nights last week, and it is the worst hotel I have ever sayed in. The rooms looks like a prison cell, and our bathroom was not located in our room, it was in the hall outside. This was not described well before booking the room. The breakfast was terrible. Warm sweating cheese and meat....

Having gone the inexpensive route for my travels, this hotel is one of the better ones. Reception helpful and spoke perfect English. Easy walk to all Old Town attractions. Clean, comfortable, spacious room and decent breakfast. A bit noisy, but still a great deal

My boyfriend and I stayed there for 2 nights in Riga. It is in the middle of the old town so the location is pretty nice. However we did not like the room much. It was behind the average hotel. But we have to thumb up for one of the receptionists, who was really nice and recommend us a couple of...

Great location, so noisy at night, so the best option is to join everyone else out in the fantastic bars and clubs that are local to this hotel. Breakfast is 8-11am, is basic, but OK. Don't despair as there is a great bakery over the road open till 11pm. Rooms are pretty basic, with shared bathrooms per two rooms. Would...

I'm just back from a 3 night stay at the Kolonna Hotel in Riga. The hotel is very centrally located on a busy narrow street which has several bars and cafes. After having read previous reviews I'd requested a room at the back due to street noise. I had virtually no sleep on my first night although my room was...

We could not have hoped for a better hotel so central, to all Riga had to offer I must compliment the staff for being very friendly and co-operative and a very special thank you to Anastasija who was extra specially helpful and always ready...

We stayed here three nights on the fourth floor. The noise kept us up very late every night and since there is no air conditioning we had to leave the windows open or suffocate from the heat. The hotel room was very basic as was the breakfast, not bad though. The bathroom is very basic as well. Try to get...

Dear Sarmis212, thank you very mych for your feedback regarding your stay! Due to our wonderful location it is possible that it could get noisy, but instead all tourist attractions are located few steps from hotel. Unfortunately due to very central location in the middle of the old town, there might be people having parties on the street or in...
