What to say? Perfect location close to public transportation and to old city. Clean room, warm showers, cheap, friendly staff, a nice welcome drink. Good facilities with a bar. I think this is indeed the place to be in Riga

This Aussie run budget hostel is centrally located in the heart of the Riga Old Town. It is very close to most major attractions, to the bus from the airport and has a large supermarket and budget eating options close by. The hostel itself has a friendly and welcoming environment. The rooms are spacious and the amenities of a good...

I don't even know where to begin. This is one my favorite hostels in the world. Many times I've visited riga and always have extended my stay. The hostel is very clean and comfy. And the best part of Naughty Squirrel is their staff. All the girls are super helpful and fun. They know how to party and make you...

Went here over the Easter break after a recommendation of a friend. Travelled with one other friend. On arrival, the staff were very friendly and helpful (with a welcome shot which was nice). As it was a busy weekend my friend and I were split in separate rooms on the second night but the staff apologised and offered us a...

6 of us stayed in a mixed dorm. We were greeted with a warm welcome and a free shot of their local liquor, as well as a map with advice on recommended local places to eat, drink and visit (and where to avoid - namely the strip clubs). The staff were really friendly and organised trips daily. The pub crawl...

The staff are always super friendly and always willing to answer any question or to give you tips. The bathroom and toilets were always clean. We really liked our stay and would...

What do you do when you've got ten days off from work? Book a solo hostel trip to Riga of course... This was my first time travelling solo outside of the UK and my first time at a hostel. A rash decision on my part (booked trip after drinking wine) but, thanks to the team at the Naughty Squirrel, a...

I tend to stay in hotels when travelling l, but this time I opted to try the naughty squirrel due to its excellent location in the old town. As expected there is the usual mix of dorms and private rooms. The beds were comfy and had the added bonus of extra thick duvets at this time of year. The shared...
