This is a very good choice for your stay, centrally located near bus and railway terminals in Riga. Very helpful staff! Some services were cut (reason : covid) but the hotel operates as usual and delivers
We booked a hotel room for two but we only received one blanket. I asked for another one and the unfriendly receptionist said I will check if wr have some... minutes later he came to our room and gave me the blanket and the cover separatly and said I have to do it for my own.... Worst worst worst
The hotel is ok for like one night when you just want somewhere to rest your head. However, rooms are pretty outdated - seems that they were repaired in the 80s. We asked for a double room, but we've got two single beds. We didn't see a problem, so we pushed beds together, however, in the morning they were apart again, somehow. The breakfast was really average - they served some sausages, some pasta that didn't have sauce at all. The only thing that my boyfriend liked was herring. However, since I hate herring, I had to eat only sausages. At least the rooms were clean, and the hotel is really close to everything - the old town is like a 10-15 min walk, and you can see the central station from your windows. Also, don't take the corner room, since our friends complained about the traffic light beeping all the time.…
Stayed here because someone else booked the room and I would usually never consider a place like this but I hoped for the best . On arrival the room was not ready and the receptionist took it upon himself to reassure us that it was our fault, of course it’s not our fault they hadn’t got the room ready. We were allowed to leave our luggage which we left in a small room in the back ourselves and we were left in the room alone for about half hour as we got ourselves sorted. This made me question how safe our bags were In this small dirty room that was full of old broken suitcases. When we finally got into the room all I had to do was turn in the bed and I fell through! Breakfast which is included was absolutely dreadful. I wouldn’t stay here if it was free.
After thet was clear. That had free rooms to stay where. Has been sent to non existing hostel by an angry man. No thanks you riga. Rija hotel Patient peple answer everything clever Good Europe vibes significant
I and my fiancee had to stay in this hotel for two nights, of our week long stay in Riga. There was a mix up at our hotel (Ibis hotel), which is just around the corner. So we were put into this awefull hotel. I would'nt recomend this to my worst enemy. Horrible service, cramped rooms, and the smell, that awefull saggy smell. Breakfast was ok I guess. The only thing I was happy about was when we checked out and into Ibis.
We stayed there for four days and had mixed experience. Located quite near to Train and Bus station, with cafes, shops nearby, it's a value for money. Unfortunately room we got was very small at interior corner, with no view,no ventilation, not much facilities. Though I requested the staff at reception and willing to pay whatever extra price, the staff just refused to listen, anyhow we had no choice. Surprisingly another staff at reception next day was very helpful in guiding us what important locations for one day trip from Riga. Even the staff at dining hall were exceptionally good and friendly. The old town square and other major attractions are quite walkable distance. Free WiFi at hotel.
... probably there will be more coffeekettles 4 ex.:)) ♥️love your hotel 4life, anyway 🙂 Especially you know, that perfect magical voice in alto-key, endless beauty & other options of perfection. And a strength as well.
Location is good but if you plan any more than one night I would suggest saving a bit longer till you can afford something better. I don't like 1 star reviews bit I can't think of anything good to say apart from location. Everything else about this place is dire.
This hotel was a big disappointment. The premises are dark, old and outdated. The room had a weird bed, very low and very uncomfortable. I could feel the metal springs against my body from head to toe. I asked for a new mattres or at least something to cover the springs. Nothing was done after complaint. The carpets in the room were dirty and full of old stains. One wall was sprayed with some unidentified liquid and its spots remained. Old furniture. Loud noise from refrigerator. The booking confirmation said it was equipped with an iron but it was missing in the room. The breakfast was acceptable but with limited selection. No honey or natural yoghurt. Only coffee from machine, not tasty. One day there was no jam in the buffet. The girl working the breakfast service explained that it was finished. When asked if she could maybe get some more she explained: "sorry i don't work in the kitchen". The breakfast room is kitschy and horribly painted. Good points: location was good opposite of central station and walking distance to old Town.…
