I’m impressed. A beautiful building.
From the first warm welcome the attention to detail was a wonderful thing.
I had a huge room with all those little touches to make it a comfortable stay.
I always judge a hotel by the quality of the scrambled eggs - strange? Well, no. So ma

In the confirmation mail from Booking I was told that an extra fee of 350 EUR will be charged as a damage deposit and will be refunded after damage inspection. This is a huge amount and I am scared to pay it. Why is the deposit so high?
Booked direct with hotel, no deposit required, just the usual took card details to pay for bar bill etc. Try another booking agency or even better book direct.

Is bottled water free in room? I see from info that tea/coffee/milk supplied . Is this replenished daily? Thanks.
Maybe it depends on a room class, but in my room regular bottled water was free! Spend just one night so don't know if its replenished every day, but thing so, also on they're web site it says : ...kitchenette with complimentary selection of tea, coffee and mineral water, espresso machine...

Which bus is easier from airport to Hotel Bergs?
Taxis are VERY cheap in Riga. If you've got the budget to stay at Hotel Bergs you'll certainly want to take a taxi from the airport.

I am planning to stay 2 nights in Bergs, and then move to Semarah Hotel Lielupe at the cost area. What do you recommend to move there, taxi or train? Is it easy for a visitor to get a local train?
Dear Woodfire0131, Thank you for the interest shown to our hotel! More comfortable way to get to Jurmala would be by taxi. Approximate cost would be arround EUR 25.00. Meanwhile Train traffic is very intense to Jurmala direction thus you can catch the train easily. Train will cost 2 euros per person per way. We would be happy to provide you additional information via e-mail hotelbergs@hotelbergs.lv though. Best regards, Janis Klavins Hotel Bergs Marketing department
