Our room was on the fourth floor and there was no elevator. Although the room was pretty small, and with no wardrobe, the bed was comfortable. There were no extra sheets or blankets, and no way of controlling the air conditioner. The bathroom was tiny, dirty and the shower disgusting. NOTHING TO DO WITH BOOKING.COM'S PICTURES OF THE HOTEL. So we spend our first easter day here. The service and environment is very nice, welcoming. The rooms are very tidy, clean. But the walls are very thin, thats why in the morning we weren't able to sleep well. It was very warm to sleep we opened the window but it was bad noises from there so we weren't able...

I have to preface my review by saying that we stayed as part of a 'bargain-basement'- priced midweek package with WizzTours, so I didn't expect great things even though this was one of the higher-rated of the choice of hotels they gave us. The A1 is well-located in the 'New Town' part of Riga and walkable to all the main...

Easy check-in, clean and spacious rooms, powerful hot shower, great breakfast (lots of choice), close enough to old town (10-15 mins walk) or trams/buses. Bars, shops and restaurants close by, staff very helpful. Good for a game of snooker or pool also! Would advise it for all groups and ages.Only 5 minutes walk from KGB building (very interesting). Thin walls...

We were here with my girlfriend. She was very impressed by the windows and view. The breakfast is very tasty and various. Rooms and all are clean, good service. We were very happy here and want to return&.

Very nice and clean hotel at unbeatable quality-price ratio. The included breakfast was satisfying (maybe something sweet could be added to the menu, like biscuits). The position is not really close to the old town (about 20-30 mins walking), but still i definitely recommend it.

I came to stay in A1 2 nights in Riga, althought the location is not right in the heart of center but this was my amazing experience. The hotel is clean, receptionists were friendly and helpful. I will come back here next time

The room was large, also bathroom was large. Friendly staff. Taste and rich breakfast. Tv was modern. The room and linen were clean. The walls were quite thin, I heard my neighbours. I was confused about toilet paper, there was a sign: don't throw toilet paper in the toilet. However the overall experience was good.

I stayed in this Hotel last week and was very good. Even though that is a little bit far from the old city (25 min walk) it worth. Good bed, nice shower, you can drink a good bear and play pool in the reception. Receptionists were very kind and supportive. Breakfast good, not what I am used to eat in...

The location of the A1 Hotel is ok, about 10 minutes walk from the Old Town, bus and train stations. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and served between 7am and 10am. My room (212) was noisy but comfortable enough. The room decor was, well how can I put it, a bit flamboyant, with a...
