A bit mixed with this hotel. Overall I enjoyed my stay. The room and decor are nice throughout. Room was nice and warm, great shower and a comfortable bed. No issue with any noise so very peaceful and relaxing. Pool and sauna are ok, perhaps a little cold for a pool that is more about soaking in rather than swimming due to its shape. Breakfast has a good selection - I actually really enjoyed this. I had a problem with the room but it was rectified by the reception team. I think they need to have higher expectations from their cleaning and maintenance team and perhaps check more often. All ok but I challenge what makes it 5 stars as I’ve stayed in better 5 star hotels before.
Staying here at the moment and there are parties in the central atrium till 2am The music is so loud in the rooms that over look that we might as well be at the party !! Don’t understand how this is rated as a 5 star hotel and they would prioritise a music venue over hotel guests
Was very surprised to learn this was a five star hotel. The positives were definitely the reception staff who were the only friendly people we came across in the whole of Riga. The negatives include rooms with no carpets and stained floors. Our room also was fully grey it reminded me of a prison cell. Miserable cleaner who seemed pissed off that I requested a towel after we found we did not have one in our room. But the worst thing was the breckfast. First day arrived 30 minutes before due to end and everything was cold. Requested fresh eggs to be made but told we close in 30 minutes so not possible. Complained to reception who apologied and said would not happen again. Next day arrived earlier this time again everything cold and inedible and the restraunt staff just shrugged their shoulders. Also don't book a taxi to the airport from the hotel was going to cost €28 when the bus is €1.15. All in all this hotel sums up Riga, poor customer service and very average. …

Great location on the edge of the old town, just near the President's residence. Spotlessly clean, modern and with lots of art. Room was very clean and comfortable. Great bathroom. Bathrobes and slipper supplied. Could've done with more refreshments. We had to ask for milk as none supplied and coffee and tea not restocked. No biscuits. Would've been nice to have a coffee machine for 5 stars. The Gym and pool was nice and at the top of the hotel. Pool quite narrow..not for the serious swimmers! Breakfast had lots of choice. Not the hottest cooked breakfast but OK. Continental selection was lovely. Reception staff were excellent and really helpful. Bar staff were a bit abrupt. Overall, I would recommend and return to this hotel
Rooms are clean and cozy like whole hotel. The only problem was breakfast. We had a choice of few slices ham and cheese, eggs prepared in very round shape and sasyskas (Vienner soussages). That's it. Orange and apple juice jars where empty for 30 mins, had to wait in line for coffee forever. Breakfast totally not from hotel with 5 stars.
Booking suites upgrades with diamond card was charged against payment. Bed and towels not fresh and clean. Food in restaurant not fresh and no choice by the breakfast. Welcome drink was also charged against payment! No service support!!!
I stayed at the Pullman Riga in August. It was a long stay so it's I was able to experience the hotel in almost every aspects. Rooms: we had a little glitch at arrival (the given room wasn't ready) we were given a "spare" room for the night and the day after we finally checked in what it became the room for the rest of the stay. The entire process was smooth and well organized. The reception staff competent and patient. One note on the room...why on hearth architects think it's fun to have a SINK in the room and outside a proper bathroom this is out of my understanding. Luckily this was just for one night. the rest of the stay was spent in a lovey room with a nice, real bathroom. We had a magnificent bed (by far the very best I slept in hotel) BUT there was no desk in the room. I had to work a couple of afternoon and I had no space to place the laptop. pretty strange for a 5 start hotel. Internet connection was spotless with a strong signal! Breakfast buffet lovely! In general the staff was great! Lovely sauna/ wellness area with plenty of bathrobes and towel to use. I did not try the restaurant as it was a little bit over budget for us but It looked nice. tip..ask at arrival for the little Riga magazine with all the info about the city! it was a great help to plan for trips, restaurant and activities. …
On arrival, we were warmly welcomed by Ksenija and Emils. Thanks both for providing an excellent experience right from the start. The welcome drinks and the surprise fruit basket in our rooms was fabulous! If you’re in Riga, I’d highly recommend staying here. You won’t regret it!
Wonderful hotel, big rooms, nice atmosphere, good location in the nearby the old part of the city and many restaurants, the airport is 10 minutes far, very good workers ready to help and assist any time
