Hotel Tartu is situated in the centre of Tartu and is your best choice in case you appreciate friendly service, affordable prices, and a comfortable hotel room. Being one of the oldest hotels in Tartu, built already in 1964, Hotel Tartu has always been regarded as an ideal place to stay by people coming to Tartu either on business or on holiday. One reason for this is certainly the hotel’s convenient location. Following the architecture of the building, the interior as well has been designed in a nostalgic but modern style of the 1960s. The hotel has 72 renovated rooms, 6 hostel rooms, 40 superior rooms in new part which was opened 2017.Furthermore we have conference rooms, a cosy cafe, little gym and sauna center with 2 jacuzzies. The Hotel Tartu offers a relaxing accommodation right in the centre of Tartu – the bus terminal is just opposite the hotel, the Old Town, the Vanemuine theatre and concert halls, and a shopping centre only a short walk away.

Everything did work very well. Comparing price/quality ratio by far the best hotel in Tartu for this specific night at the time when I made my booking. I had made my booking through the website of the hotel. Especially I would acknowlidge the quality and choice of the breakfast. I did not want to use the possibility of having free sauna in the morning, but this could be the added value for somebody as well (you have to have your own swimwear and slippers for going there).

The room was missing a tray with drinking glasses, one of the bedside lamps had a burnt out bulb and we couldn't find slippers in the room. Responsive staff with drink accessories created a solution :)

Not fancy, but facility is well maintained and clean. Services are well considered and designed from customer's point of view. Breakfast was very delicious. Staff was friendly and effective. I will stay here next time.

It was interesting experience. I was there because of the studies. Sadly the windows are not well isolated so you can hear all the noise from outside. As the windows were poorly isolated, the air conditioner didn't keep the temperature so well. I got a fever after that.

We were in the new part of the hotel and we were very satisfied. We happened to have a big room with bath in the bathroom. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean. We missed some small things like shoespoon and hairdryer. Maybe it was possible to ask it from the reception, er didn't check.

Small room with a nice view. Flat TV, fridge, desk. No drink water in the room. Awful shower. Cafe where you can have a dinner. Free parking. Two big shopping centers and a bus station across the road.

Stayed with kids. Good location next to Ahhaa center and lot of malls and places to see.. nice quiet night. And good breakfast. Since not the first time I'm used to little bit weird layout of hotel but this is a minor inconvenience

Been to the Tartu Hotel several times because of its price-quality ratio and easy location (it is close to the old town but has good parking options & is next to the bus station). The main building of the hotel dates some years back but has been completely renovated. The superior rooms are located in the more recently built annex boasting also a new spa with a few different saunas and whirlpools (open for hotel guests in the morning without a fee, in the evening you have to pay). All is clean and well-functioning, and the staff is friendly and helpful. You may though notice e.g. from the somewhat limited and basic breakfast options (for instance the fruit salad is simply from a can) that this is "only" a three-star hotel, even if a decent one.

The location is very good, in city centre. Buss station, shopping centres and Science Centre- AHHAA are near. The room was nice and good for two people. The morning sauna was a very nice addition. Breakfast was very good, wide choice in food. All was fresh. There was a lot of choices.
