We stayed here in August and it is a very nice place and is not very expensive. One of the problems was finding it as the numbers in the street didn't work quite how we expected it and as a result we went passed it twice looking for it!
Anyway once found it is a very comfortable clean spacious B and B property. From here we walked into Tartu and had a good exploration of the town, there are shops and supermarkets near bye to replenish supplies.
Internet was free and of a good standard.
Breakfast was yummy lots of choice.
Good parking facilities ... Very good value for money

We stayed for the new year and it was a perfect choice. Nice room, not too many people, nice breakfasts. Good for travelers by car. The hotel has a parking place. Very nice service. A very friendly place. Nice sauna with a small pool. In general it made our new year a holiday.

No darkening curtains! The sun is in your head from 4 am! No air-conditioning. No comments about the TV, its not that importaint, but still... dont count on it. All'n'all - the guy is only taking out! Nothing new there. Very old or very broken. Take an apartement instead (if on budget trip ;)

We spent one night at Riia Villa - a very pleasant stay well worth the money. Our room on the second floor was spotless, nicely decorated and had a balcony overlooking a garden. Bathroom could need an upgrade but was also very clean. Nice touch: In the communal space downstairs the owners provided a tea & coffee making facility in a large open kitchen. After a very quiet night (bear in mind that Riia Villa is located in a residential area that's in walking distance to city center) we enjoyed a breakfast buffet with plenty of choice. None of the 3 very lovely and helpful people who manage the house actually live there. That said, it is advisable that guests contact them beforehand to arrange for someone to be at the property upon arrival.

I choose this place 40 min walk away from city centre due to close vicinity to the Health care college. Small B&B in very quiet area with comfortable room and bathroom. Good breakfast, especially fresh porridge. Kind staff. Only drawback is noise in corridor and staircase that one can hear very good.

It is not a Luxury room, as advertised

Very quiet and relaxed place not so far away from tartu centre, 2-3 km 30-40 min walking, but it's always straight. This place surpriced us, very friendly owner, so homey. I loved the romantika room and the apples trees outside. We wanted to try the ver big bath but we didn't have time. The rooms are clean, spacious and very well decorated, with excellent bathroom facilities. The lady who greeted us was friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was also plentiful.
I struggle to see how the whole thing is run so well when the price for guests is so minimal. Bravo!

Very quiet and small house hotel. Friendly staff and great variety of breakfast.
It's a bit away from town centre. Clean room and nice sitting area.
