Lovely hotel in the heart of Tartto! We stayed there for three nights, and it was modern and clean, and the breakfast was good. We slept also very good, beds were very comfortable. Excellent customer service and the receptionist spoke English very well. I could go there again.
Spent 3-nights at this wonderful hotel located in the hearth of Tartu. Loved how clean everything was and the breakfast was superb. The room we had was very spacious and the beds very comfortable. There is also a parking lot near the hotel so getting here by car is easy.
I stayed in Soho Hotel in Tartu from late May until mid-June and I can say that it's one of the hotels I enjoyed the most and would gladly return to. The rooms are spacious and practical - there's a working desk that I used regularly, more than enough space for personal items, + a mini fridge that came in really handy for storing fruits, yogurt, etc. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well (the darkening curtains also helped). :) The breakfast buffet provides plenty to choose from (including ice-cream), and the staff is very kind and helpful. Overall, I would recommend staying here both short-term and long-term.
Hotel Soho (FKA Hotel London) got rebranded and the lobby was renovated into a chic, trendy, modern hotel. The lobby has a fresh industrial look which blends into the University town of Tartu. The hotel only has around 50 rooms and the location is ideal-meters from the main square, surrounded by restaurants, bars, shops and cafes. An easy walk to most places in Tartu. Less than 1km from the bus station. Since the main street is pedestrian only- the taxi will let you out on the side of the hotel-all you have to do is turn the corner to the main entrance of the hotel. As you enter you'll see a big bar with bar reception on it-the small check in desk is on your right as you enter. All of the receptionists were extremely friendly, helpful and always smiling. Their cheerfulness, genuine attitude demonstrated that they cared about their guests and made me feel special. Probably one of the top receptionists that I've experienced during my 20 + years of travelling and staying in hotels, They will give you restaurant recommendations. Don't forget to make restaurant reservations in advance as some of the more popular ones get very busy, The room was a good size with a safe and a refrigerator. Their were lights and a master switch near the comfortable bed but unfortunately not a plug to charge your devises. The bathroom had a shower and shampoo dispensers. The free internet wasn't always reliable during my stay-it was going off and on. Breakfast is served on the lower level. The buffet was typically what you'll expect in Estonia-fruit, cereal, herring, lox, salad. eggs (not made to order), cold cuts, juices ( not fresh) , coffee ( from a machine) and tea. On the weekends they add sparkling wine and ice cream. A solid breakfast to start the day. All in all, Hotel Soho is a perfect place to stay in Tartu with its' central location, fresh and trendy déco, comfortable rooms, good breakfast and most importantly the check in staff that are exceptionally customer driven. There is nothing else that you can ask for in a 4* hotel.,…
This hotel is simply fantastic! It’s clean, comfy and historic. Restaurant is very modern and personnel is very kind and professional. Also food is amazing. is very modern and personnel is very kind and professional. Main changes compared to hotel London is the vibe of the place and new beautiful and modern interior design in the restaurant and reception area. I recommend this hotel everyone, who want just relax and enjoy life.
The historic building (formerly known as hotel London) and new concept of this hotel make it a very good staying spot. It’s located in the centre of Tartu so everything you need is right at your door. The bar and tasty breakfast are such good bonuses!
