Weak Wifi so to use the internet was not possible. The mattresses on the beds were so hard that you woke up with backache every morning. In both cases a complaint at the front desk brought no improvement.

It was a very comfortable and wonderful stay. The rooms were clean and they were quite big. The Wifi was also good. The breakfast was amazing! It was full of variety, fresh fruit, several fresh juices, fresh bread and pancakes. Didn't have the opportunity to go to the Spa and pool.

Is pent two nights in this hotel. Monotonous breakfasts, an unclean basket in the bathroom and a fridge in the room. Despite the request, the next day's stay was not interrupted either. I do not recommend

Not bad overall, a bit basic. Pro: location in very interesting Rottermani quarter in walking distance to the old town, renovated bathroom and well maintained in hallways, lifts, etc. Cons: awful synthetic pillows and blankets, the room was not attended by housekeepers during my weekend stay (I had 2 sets of towels but stayed solo, so not a big deal, but some level of service is expected in 3star hotel), only one person at times at reception during busy hours serving a flow of guests from 2 hotels (Metropol and Metropol Spa), so queues are long. Last bad impression on check out: the receptionist didn't even acknowledge me properly. When I paid up, left the keys and said "Thank you, goodbye" - no answer back, not even a glance back. She kept starring at her computer screen like I wasn't there. Estonian hospitality? I don't think so. More like a lack of professional training.

Friendly reception staff, light - scandinavian-styles furnished - rooms. Modern lounge & spa facilities at the Metropol Spa Hotel, which can be used for surcharges. The breakfast room at the Metropol Hotel could need some fresh paint and maybe some contemporary details....however: An interesting contrast to the SPA hotels interior and the Roter Mann quarter...in general. A bit like it was taking a cruise on the quality-classic scandinavian car-ferries FR"!"o"m Norway 10 years ago.
