This camping is within a 20 minute bike ride of the ferry terminal to Helsinki and Stockholm and another 5 minutes to the beautiful old city so it's location is excellent. When we arrived an older man was in reception and he wins the award for the rudest, most aggressive person I've ever encountered whilst camping. Fortunately he was off duty the following day. The campsite is situated in a parking lot beside the harbour amongst the boats. There is a restaurant there where you can get a drink or a limited variety of food. The toilets are horrendous especially the male's toilet which stinks. You need a code to get in. The showers are located in a small container - 2 showers in a tiny room separated with a shower curtain. Don't expect any privacy. A shower costs €2 - you have to push the button every few seconds which is very annoying. The showers are not particularly clean. Recommended if you want a good location. Don't go if you want a nice camping park.

It is true that this is not a campsite in the true sense of the word. There is allocated parking at the Harbour. However, it is guarded 24 hours and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a shower (2 euros - very clean) and a toilet block. We left our Motorhome here for one week and took a bus into St Petersburg. We left our van on electric hook-up and it was safe and well looked after. We found this site convenient and perfect - after all it is a CITY camping stop.

In lack of better options in Tallinn to put our rv for the night (city camping apparently even worse), we went here. 20eur to park on a parking lot in yacht Harbour. Basic facilities. Small grass patch for tents. There is a small cafe with snacks and drinks, friendly folks. That's the only positive. (Ah, and a nice sunset view)

For 15 euro to pitch a tent it's a rip off. Far more than camping in Finland! Due to the lack of options nearby I'd recommend camping for one night only. Very basic facilities. Staff are friendly though.

Harbour side but not attractive. Mainly hard standing for RVs . Little grass for tents. No cafe or kitchen/wash up facilities. Remote unpleasant toilets . Not very helpful staff. Would not camp there again unless fully self contained in a RV. No reservable sites so prone to over- occupation and space being taken when out.
