Chose the hotel because of excellent situation to the old town and an interesting website but that was about all. The room was small and pokey in the basement down what seemed like hundreds of stairs. There was no room for any luggage so in the end we put our bags on the window ledge. A reasonanble bathroom with shower...

We stated at this hotel for two nights June 7-8. We had to lug up our luggage ourselves for five flights. The hotel has no elevator and busboy help is now and then. The beds are soft twins. The rooms are plain, but quite. The breakfast buffet has cereals hot and cold and hard boiled and scrambled eggs. Most of...

We had read the other reviews in advance, so we knew about rooms being located in the basement - anyway, we hoped for the best and a window to the courtyard... As it turned out, our room was located not one, but two stairs down and had no windows. Room standard was quite good, but still it felt like a...

I agree with al reviews that the staff are generally unfriendly. There was one exception. But it could be a cultural thing as most Estonians are like this. It doesn't bother me. The stairs bit is true but this hotel is in teh old town. If you want to stay in the old town, the choices are not many and...

Very close to the city center. However it is hard to get to the rooms with alot of luggage we had to go down one set of spiral staircases, walk through the restaurant, down another hall, and then for our room up 5 flights of stairs. Luckily all we had was small carry-on sizes, can't imagine doing it with a...

We chose this hotel as it was so near the centre of the old town, which was certainly an advantage. We arrived at midnight and the only greeting, after signing in was - down the stairs then turn right. In fact we had to ascend 100 steep and sometimes winding stairs to get to our room, with no help on...

The problem with this hotel: - It is 7 floors and no lift - There is no fire-escape at all. Not even outside stairs. There is a fire folder in your room telling you that if there is a fire in the normal stairs, close the door to your room and hope for the best... - The breakfast is almost...

The location of the Olevi hotel is one of the few positive aspects as the hotel is right in the heart of the medieval city. I wanted to stay in the old town, but many hotels didn't offer reasonable options for families. The Olevi residence seemed to meet our needs as it allowed us to share the same room -...

We spent one night here at the end of our trip round Finland, having taken the short trip over from Helsinki. We booked the hotel through one of the websites accessible through this website, we chose a deluxe room and somehow ended up with a two bedroom suite (room number 1). Needless to say it was quite a sizeable set...

A pleasant enough hotel, well situated in the centre of the town, close to everything. Like other reviews found the staff to be a little on the grumpy side. Breakfast not great, buffet style and small breakfast area diddnot seem quite adequete to accommodate the diners. Our room was in the basement of the hotel with a window overlooking a...
