Hotel is about 15 mins walk from Tallinn cruise terminal and 10 mins walk to Nos. 4 team station to airport. It is a beautiful medieval hotel. I love the decorations inside hotel. Very near to all the places of interest. Hotel breakfast is delicious though not many variety. I love thier home made yoghurt, cherry jam, milk cereals, omelette and bread. The front lady Olga is friendly and offered to get their porter to carry our luggage to our room as it was difficult to carry luggages to our home through the steep spiral staircase. My suggestion whether can let customers to carry luggages through the restaurant to by pass the spiral staircase. The room a bit small with 2 single beds. However still enough to put two 24" luggages. I love the bathroom is big and warm. I have no hesitate to recommend to others who visit Tallinn. …
Nice rooms in an old house situated in the Old Town. Of course there are many stairs to climb but this is not uncommon in old buildings. The stuff is courteous an helpful. Breakfast ist delicious and very adequate. Ideal starting point to explore the old town of Tallinn.
For the prize you get about what you can expect. Nothing special. The location is the best part of the hotel. Otherwise it is a bit old and run-down. The bed is not comfortable at all, breakfast is poor and if you have any problems with stairs, do not choose this place. But for the prize, nothing to really complain about.
It was my second stay here. Nice and absolutely quiet rooms, fine breakfast. No issues with wifi. Friendly staff. There are a lot of stairs up to the rooms if you're staying on the 5th floor or higher. It may be difficult to climb up. And we didn't like the food and the service at the restaurant next door.
Satisfied with the location which is great. The staff at the reception was great. The room was nice and big enough for the needs of a couple. The room was hot. No smells in the bathroom, quiet room. Many cafes and restaurants around. Good transportation. Easy access
We stay at this hotel for a mini new year trip and spend 3 nights here. We came earlier and as they had a free room that was ready we paid 20 euros for an early checking and breakfast for three people, it wasn't our original room but we still were able to put our stuff there and take a nap after a breakfast, when our room was ready they told as straight away. The location of the hotel is perfect - right next to the city hall. We were able to walk for most of the sight seeing spots. The room we stayed was clean and cleaned every day, towels were changed when you wanted them to be changed. Breakfast was the same every day, but you should definitely find something to eat. The staff was always nice and helpful, with most we were able to speak in English or Russian. The room walls are not very thick as you can easily hear people from the room next to you.…
A great stay overnight in Tallinn. We arrived early and were allowed an early check in (for a reasonable charge). The room (6th floor) was clean and well furnished with a lovely view over the rooftops. You can ask for a kettle. Tatiana on reception was welcoming and happily arranged a local taxi firm (Konstantin) to take us to the Jagala waterfall for a fixed price. Konstantin took us to the hydroelectric plant featured in Tarkovsy’s seminal 1979 film “Stalker”. Really handy for the nightlife offered by Tallinn. We had to make an early ferry back to Helsinki the next day so no time for breakfast, but there is a branch of Caffeine coffee shops over the road for takeaway which was fantastic coffee. Thanks Olevi Residents!
Very nice hotel. Very near from everything in old Town and train station. All people who working here very kind and lovely. Very good breakfast and wonderful beer .Thank you a lot for nice time we had
The hotel is clean and quiet. The location is a perfect one, near the Raekoja plats. Cleanliness is of course by far the most important thing. Because the house is very old, from late Middle Ages, it has certain qualities: Very steep stair and narrow corridors. No elevator. Definately not suitable for physically challenged persons. Larger luggage is certainly a problem, too. The breakfast is not a pair with the stunning frames of the house renovated truly with a true piety. It is a very modest one. Maybe you would consider it a very homely basic Estonian breakfast: coffee and tea, cottage cheese, sausage with low meat percentage, young cheese, eggs etc. I’m sure they don’t have a cook. - All in all, more terrible breakfast as I use to have at home. Actually, to be truthful, after eating three mornings (plus two more in the other hotel of their) the same selection you were unable to create new combinations. You reach some kind of submissive state of mind or lame way of being. For the last morning I bought something nice from Rimi and Balti Jaama Turg and it was wonderfully relieving and energizing. I took only coffee to our room from breakfast. But after all, the main thing here is the feeling of the old times. Maybe the breakfast could be a good part of it. The owner has five hotels in the Old Town with the same concept. I liked the atmosphere with its nightmares and would certainly visit again! If anything, I would develop the breakfast: change the sausages to small bratwurstchen and Meira basic mustard to Dijon mustard (or add) and meatballs to falafels with tzatziki. It will certainly do the thing and doesn’t cost so much.…
You can get a confy stay in low cost at the middle of the old Town in Olevi. The hotel is not accessible for wheelchair because of the many stairs. Our room was underground, perhaps in an old cellar. Old walls were still visible. Room was big and comfortable and warm. Only downside was the breakfast. Nothing special. Luckily Tallinn is full of good breakfast places.
