When arriving to the ”hotel” there was a smell of feces. The room itself was not so bad, but our beds had nasty and unpleasent bodyfluids. Our towels had black hairs. The manager offered 20% off the next stay, but that will never ever happen. This is not a hotel, but maybe a hostel. No breakfast for people with allergies, eg gluten free food was not available.
Great location, nice staff. Excellent location relative to the old town, just 7 minutes walk to the old town, near the market and depot. Excellent and friendly staff, regular room cleaning, parking is included in the room rate. There is no kettle and refrigerator in the room.
I stayed for one night, my first time in Tallinn, passing the city to spend my holiday in a national park in Estonia. My stay in the Economy Hotell was just perfect for what I needed. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Everything was very easy. A tiny, cosy, nice and clean room, I had a very good sleep. I could leave my luggagge the next day to be able to stroll around the city before leaving in the evening. The location is perfect, Kalamaja area is cool, and everything else (the old town, the harbour) is a small walking distance away. I'll be happy to stay here next time again.
The location of the hotel is super convenient. Most of my favourite places in Tallinn ended up being close to it. Lots of restaurants, cafes and shops around, tram and bus station, market. However, it also meant that the environment wasn't quiet, especially in the evenings. The receptionist didn't seem fluent in English and wasn't sure what type of information I had to fill in the form I've received upon arrival. Nevertheless, she was friendly and willing to help. The room was small but it wasn't an issue for me, as I only needed it to sleep. Cleanliness could be improved. One of the towels had a yellow stain on it. The bathroom had some rust here and there, the paint was missing in some places, but it didn't affect the overall experience. There was no shampoo or other toiletries, except for the hand and body wash (2 in 1) both in the shower and next to the sink. All in all, I would come back here again, mainly for the location.…
Friendly and helpful staff, really nice restaurant in the same building, just besides. Close to railway station and EKA campus. Oldtown is just near by, easy to walk there. Reasonable price. But you should understand that this is an economic place to stay and adjust your expectations accordingly. Good affordable place if you are not looking for something fancy.
For sure the best hotel in Tallinn.position staff accomodation ..the top you can ask my particular thx goes to Jana and Kartu for am incredible help in this so difficult moment...the best choise you can do in Tallinn...
I and my partner visited Tallinn for the weekend and stayed here for a night. We stayed at Economy Hotel last year, s we had a nice experience we wanted to stay here again. Perfect location - Right in front of the train station, very near to old town and Telliskivi. Clean - Everything seemed pretty clean. We stayed in August (Corona is still a thing), I was pretty confident that the hotel was clean enough to keep us safe. Nice staff - I think staff is helpful and positive in general.
Very loud noise from street, absolutly not possible to sleep. Bad smell in the room. The administrator did'nt agree to show us the room before check-in, if we could see the room before, we wouldn't choose it.
Good location, close to Telliskivi, market and railway station. Very nice and helpful staff. The room was small but with all the necessary basic amenities and very clean. And a very nice breakfast. Will definitely choose this hotel again, when visiting Tallinn.
Perfect location, walking distance from harbour, near Telliskivi & Fotografiska + many bars & restaurants. Hotel was super clean. Only minus comes because they didn't had the breakfast at the moment. I definitely could stay again.
