The location of the hotel is optimal and staff are friendly. Unfortunately it was very hot in our room and we couldn't cool it down with air-conditioning (staff couldn't make it blow colder air). As a result the window was opened by staff (we didn't have the handle of the window to open it ourselves) and it stayed open through the night and we heard a lot of noice through the window from the city plus the room got incredibly cold... For this reason we slept badly. There were sport teams of young players staying at the hotel the same time as us and they kept making a lot of noice till late in the evening and ended up waking us up in the morning when they knocked on our door as a mistake (they thought it was their room) The room was quite small and stuffy, breakfast was good and versatile. So, there were quite a few issues with the hotel unfortunately but there were good things as well.

I loved almost everything about this hotel. 1. Location and view from the lowered number rooms on the high floor to the port and old city are unforgettable. If you happen to stay on the other side, i suggest you to venture to the "smoking" balcony in the middle to enjoy the majestic view. 2. Staff - pretty much everyone was great and quick to accommodate with request. Only once during my 3 week stay i met someone who was not willing to help. When my TV was not working and the technician cannot fix it quick, I was offered a bigger room for free with the working TV - without even asking for move. Just a few negative comments (minor): 1. I understand about the green environment, but PLEASE - get your guests some soap bars (at least on request). The liquid soap is not always a convenient choice, and the way dispensers were located in the bathroom - made it difficult to reach for. I finish up going to supermarket across the street to buy my own soap. Not something that people should do in 4* hotels. As of other toiletries, this was hit and miss. I happened to stay in 3 different rooms and the assortment of single use packets was different: one room had hair conditioner, other - shower gel, and the 3rd one - bubble bath even though there was no bathtub in the bathroom, just a shower. I suppose if you ask for that, you can get that, even lotion. Cannot say about the quality, because I was warned about the absence of these items by other reviews and brought my own. 2. The rooms were beautiful, but... what is the issue with the drawers or shelf storage? There was absolutely none in any of the 3 rooms I had at some point occupied. Even night stands were just the shelves with no drawers for medications or change of underwear. Perhaps not an issue for a one night stay, but becomes a nuisance for a long term, especially if you want to try to keep your room clean and organized. Keeping everything in suitcase becomes annoying. 3. Finally, breakfast had many choices, but often the machines ran out of juice, coffee or water. Out of two machines available, only one was usually working, and that created long lines in a busy morning hours. These are the small things that can probably be fixed easily. As I stated before, I would gladly come back. Liked Viru much more than my previous stay in Europa - so close to everything, and even with mall next door was really great experience.

Stayed at this hotel because it was the race hotel for Ironman. Best thing about this hotel is location. It’s connected to the mall and steps from Old Town. Got one of the higher floors for a good view. Even with COVID there was housekeeping but I noticed that they don’t vacuum the floor. I stayed for 6 nights and the floor was never cleaned. I also never received a refill of the water bottles. One night when I went down to the lobby to ask for water I was told that they’re suppose leave water in the room - it was several days that I’ve been there and I never received water bottle refill.
