We planned to stay at the St Petersbourg for 4 nights and only by coincidence on our initiative we learned that the hotel is closed until July. Even worse we wrote two emails asking if there was a problem due to Coronavirus but only received vague replies. Unacceptable communication and management in our view: If we hadn't done the followup on our booking we would be standing in front of a closed hotel right now with probably nowhere to stay.

Overall I was satisfied to my visit to Hotel St. Petersbourg. There were quite good selection to choose from at breakfast and food was great. Location of the hotel was convenient. Unfortunately one night my sleep was disrupted by noise from a bar nearby the hotel but other nights there were no disturbing noises. Room was clean and had a luxurious atmosphere. Leaving the key to reception was convenient so I did not have to worry about it when I was outside hotel. In info book you mention that one reason you ask to leave the key reception is that you know when to clean the room etc. One day though my room was not cleaned yet when I arrived back early afternoon after being away for a few hours and the cleaner came when I was in the room. That is a minor flaw but to make a visit exquisite these kind of things should be flawless. One of the best part of my visit was the staff at reception. They were very helpful and friendly and they really made their best to make me feel welcome. Even though there a few minor flaws during my visit, total experience was very positive, especially because of the staff. I will probably choose this hotel again when I visit Tallinn next time.…

I wanted this to be 5 star, i really did and on the whole, it deserves to be, but some things just let it down The location, perfect, you are in the heart of the Old Town, everything is in walking distance The staff are nice and friendly, bit of feedback though, continue to serve the person you start to serve instead of putting them on hold for someone who just wants to chit chat,,, The restaurant that we used was great, both for dinner and breakfast, nice service and very good food Having the pool table was a nice touch, but might be worth getting new cues as the ones there were on their way out, a long time ago,,, The room and this is where it goes wrong, size was small and certainly not the superior room we would have expected,, Then the bed, for starters it was quite small, then one side of the matress was very well used and curved towards the middle, as for the pillows, they were non existant,,, We had an early flight on monday morning, breakfast wasnt served till 730, shame we didnt get to enjoy this, especially as 730 is very late for a week day If you want location and great food, this is it, just dont be in a rush…

Nice hotel, really good room size with comfortable bed. Hotel is in a good location 5 mins walk from main square. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, plenty of choice and you’ll always get something you’ll like. Only criticism I can make is don’t book your transfer from/to airport via the hotel website, they didn’t turn up to collect us at airport, we hung around and ended up getting a taxi from airport. Hotel then gave us some story about system problem - just be honest and say it was a mistake. We had a bit of a job explaining we shouldn’t be charged for a transfer we didn’t get. Then on our return transfer didn’t appear at hotel at booked time, had to chase reception twice - really stressful when you have a flight to catch. Such a shame as otherwise really good stay. I would stay at this hotel again despite this, and I would recommend, just don’t use them for your airport transfers...…

For the second time used this location. Very clean and well equipped hotel. Great value for money. Will definitely return every time visiting Tallinn for business or private. Rooms are big, hotel with lots of history. Very silent even that it is placed in the center of the town. Around the hotel many bars and restaurants as well as museums can be reached in walking distance.

At Petersbourg Hotel is a wonderful hotel- the hotel itself is immaculate, and the rooms extremely comfortable and well equipped. The staff are truly excellent and could not be more accommodating. To the complimentary welcome drink, to the delicious breakfast, and perfect location for seeing the city, I only wish I could have stayed longer!

Good location, good and friendly service, good rooms. Nice breakfast room and service. Schlössle like and quality but not so expensive than Schlössle. This was first time we used this hotel and we will choose this hotel again.

We have just returned from a weekend at this cosy hotel. Centrally located in the old town, you couldn't be nearer to the heart of Tallinn. We stayed in a suite on the top floor which suited us well, but the hotel has no lift so would not suit people who can't walk the stairs. All the staff were extremely service minded and pleasant. The breakfast was slightly disappointing. There was a pretty standard selection but not really 5 star standard.

Good location. Nice fireplace in the lobby. Looks good inside. Check-in is quite complicated and lenghty process. Welcome drinks. Room is good, closet and drawer. Bed was too soft for my taste. Blanket is too thick. It’s nice for a while but then becomes too hot. Old-fashioned dual-control taps. Shower. Country style breakfast room, which is totally different from other interior design of the hotel. Not very stylish. Service wasn’t too good either, they served cold coffee.
